Like many other Brits. at the moment, I think I'd just roll my eyes; move the refrigerator close to a comfy chair; switch off the tv; put the old headphones on and listen to the stuff I love while the world burns.

ICBMs go from launch to target in about 15 min. If WWIII were to happen, it would happen too quickly for most of us to travel more than a few miles. So there would be no point in rushing out.
And even if you escaped the initial blast shock waves, the radioactive dust would spread everywhere. The northern hemisphere would get the radioactive dust within days; it might take a few weeks for it to spread across the southern hemisphere.

I'd want to find their their bunkers, keep the billionaires from getting in. I'd open the bunkers up to regular people. The billionaires, generals and corrupt politicians can stay on the surface.

The other night I started field stripping my Bersa Thunder .380 to clean, and I was struggling to pull back the slide to remove it off the barrel. I refuse to go unarmed since my portable oxygen tanks paints a target on my back for those that prey upon people like me.
