@Crazywaterspring High gas prices have nothing to do with Wall Street and all about Biden's war on fossil fuels. Wall St existed a year ago when gas prices were dollars lower. The difference is biden.
@sunsporter1649 I told you before, you sound like a 6 year old that developed his own secret language with his friends so he can talk shit in front of the grown ups. No matter how much it makes you giggle, it's still infantile and stupid.
I don't consider myself a 'Biden Voter.' I voted against that lying sack of corruption & incompetence known as Donald Trump who botched our pandemic response so badly he destroyed over 20,000,000 jobs and shrank GDP by over 30%, as well as killing more Americans than the Vietnam and Korean wars combined. And I'm still glad I did.
Update: Don't take my word for it, ask his fellow republicans! [media=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P43wDpKQxaM]
I voted for Biden in order to vote against Trump. I have no remorse at present. I am expecting A LOT of pain over the next few years. A lot of Trump's policies exchanged long term stability for short term benefits. The short term benefits are already started expiring and now we have to face down and resolve the longer term issues presented.
It's going to be tough because a lot of people are going to blame democrats for the difficulties and so the republicans have a midterm edge to claim congress. And I fear too many of said republicans are still held in the sway of Trumpism to bring any sense of unity or stability to governance. Their goal will be sabotaging Biden to make sure he isn't reelected.
@fanuc2013 I think donny had this country bottom out to where 43 only dreamed of.
SW-User
I voted for Trump. I do want to thank Biden voters for their part in the high gas prices, inflation, supply chain issues, and the authoritarianism they voted into office. Thanks guys!
@Strictgram Now, there's a point of pride for you to stand up and cheer. And, who's going to pay for the wall...? š Of course, with that other guy (old what's his name?) COVID was really just a hoax anyway, so your entire argument is just plain silly.
Why? Remember all the stuff Trump was doing was grossly artificial so now the US economy is operation 'realistically' whereas under trump it was grossly skewed.
@fanuc2013 We are paying nearly $3 a litre here for ULP and the 6 month federal excise (tax) cut to 50 pct (from 44.2 cents per litre to 22.1 cents per litre) ends on Sep 28th. Truck companies here are complaining that cutting the excise in half is killing their business viability - make sure you understand that - companies in road transport claiming that *reducing* a tax is *hurting* their busnesses ability to remain solvent.
@fanuc2013 You must have slept when bush 43 goofed up the economy. You are aware the Obama and Biden saved the IS from an economic disaster. I seriously doubt if you know anything about the economy honestly. We can drip the subject if you donāt want to tax your mind.
@fanuc2013 I havenāt seen one bit of intelligence regarding the pass down from bush 43 to Obama and I am betting you didnāt learn the first time you voted for donny and voted for him a second time.
@eli1601 Air does get a bit thin at that altitude, but it sure is nice to sit outside in 70 degree weather. Sure beats the valley doesn't it? When do you close up and head back down to Phoenix?
I'm not American but it strikes me as impossible for buyers remorse in this case.
Biden won because he is not Trump. Biden could do almost anything and still be not Trump.
Part of Trump's appeal to his base was that he pissed a lot of people off. Well if people don't like him then the don't like him and will accept almost anything else.
Biden has an easy job in this sense. In fact, I think he could have much deeper problems and still not be in any serious trouble.
The only thing to to create buyer's remorse would be for Biden to be worse (in liberal terms) than Trump. It won't happen.
@sunsporter1649 Unlike you I don't parrot random talking points from other people's ideas from the cold war because it is the last time you felt relevant.
Not me. Mr. Biden wasn't my first or even second choice however, I consider the man's, integrity, honesty, and poise a refreshing change. He has dedicated himself to the difficult task of ending the toxic divisiveness and cult of hatred that came to fruition under Trump.
Biden honestly cares about Democracy and the people. Granted, he has a multitude of faults but everyone does. I wish him and Kamala Harris my best.
@whowasthatmaskedman Interesting ideas to throw out there. Thank goodness trump never put out an infrastructure bill. Could you imagine all of the graft he would put in just like he did with his ārescueā package.
@Aliveshock I dont have to imagine it. I watched Obamacare morph from a simple federal Universal Health cover scheme into a Frankensteins Monster state by state insurance scheme with so many snouts in the trough its a wonder a single medical need is ever filled. It simply isnt rocket science to put a small surcharge on Federal income tax. But that would give the Feds oversight on all those cosy Medical and Pharma deals. We cant have that.š·
@whowasthatmaskedman Your imagination took over what actually exists. dumpy trump tried to profit from the loans to small businesses. He needs to keep his legendary little hands out of the federal cookie pot.
Nope. He's doing a better job than expected when presented with difficult circumstances and has shown guts. FYI, I did not vote for him the in the primary.
That said, practically anyone with a pulse would be superior to Trump.
@QuixoticSoul I exactly got the point. A leftist tried to make a point of how evil the US is. When I called her on her lie you support her by changing the subject. Words have meaning. Don't defend the indefensible.
Whether or not they feel remorse, there's a restaurant in Central Florida that doesn't want their business. Don't know if this story is true or not, a Fed Ex driver is refusing to deliver packages to Biden voters.
@Strictgram Lol @ "you and your hero Biden" Mich hates Biden almost as much as I do. But of course you have to resort to "hurr durr you liek bad prezdent"
The CNN and MSNBC pundits are crying and whining and making all kinds of excuses and weird accusations after the election results last night! They'll really be crying after the mid-term elections next year!6
@Aliveshock Didn't need to, I have more sense than to riot and destroy, because of perceived wrongs. Civilized people use the ballot box to fix things, and that's what will happen in 2022, and again in 2024.
@fanuc2013 Obviously the false Republican claims of ācheatingā interfere with a fair election. They are aiming directly at the 1964 voting rights legislation.
@fanuc2013 Make that the "politicians" and I will agree with you. Neither side has the stomach for what it takes to win a war. And maybe thats a good thing if they wouldnt start them so easily.
@whowasthatmaskedman There's a lot of truth in that! War is a terrible thing, but, if you have to do it, annihilate your enemy as fast as you can! You have to crush them with overwhelming force, not fool around with small unit actions.
@fanuc2013 Agreed.. Hypothetically of course, America should never lose a war, based on the idea that it can turn any opponent into radioactive glass in minutes. But where is the profit in that?š·
@Stopmakingsense Might have been more of a hypocrite as he wants to put a 100% tax on all billionaires but not himself and that dumb ass is a billionaire. So if dumb ass liberals voted for him then they are still just as stupid as voting for the demented Biden.
@masterofyou Rs AND Ds have been doing this to appease voters for decades. Last balanced budget was while Bill Clinton was in ... then the politics Olympics went into overdrive...
@sunsporter1649 Good Ol' Joe Biden thinks everything is going fantastic as he signs the country away and his INEPT Administration has us circling the drain!
Meanwhile, the Puppet Masters are trying so hard to get this Ruinous Zillion Dollar Agenda Passed before Joe melts down completely!
I can't wait until he humps the Pressroom Podium then strips and runs out into the Rose Garden Ranting; "Cornflakes!" "Cornflakes!" giggle!! "Cornflakes!" "Someone wiped my Butt!" "Cornflakes for those cute little Negro Children!!" "Cornflakes! Children! China! [/c]giggle!! "Red China, Red China Chinks!!"[/c][/c]giggle!!
@sunsporter1649 Quack, get the quote right at least, it's "it looks to me like the best part of you ran down the crack of your Momma's ass and ended up as a brown stain on the mattress", a lot like you, really š¦
@Aliveshock Sorry, kind of hard to tell, the ole "pussy grabber" has had so many blonde bimbos with big tits it's hard to tell one from the next one, lol š
