The CNN and MSNBC pundits are crying and whining and making all kinds of excuses and weird accusations after the election results last night! They'll really be crying after the mid-term elections next year!6
@fanuc2013 Like how Republicans still believe Trump won in 2020 because of their feelings??
@fanuc2013 CNN is sponsored by Kleenex. When you need a tissue for your issue, grab a box of Kleenex. (Cuz you’re gonna need it!) 😆

@fanuc2013 Wrong. In fact, a lie. I watched the CNN coverage. While people are dissecting the election, no one's terribly surprised and all CNN is discussing is 2022 right now.

You guys consistently just manufacture bullshit in those factory heads of yours and by the time it comes frothing out of your mouth, you actually believe it.
@fanuc2013 Unless they can get inflation under control, you're probably right, republicans will have huge gains.

@independentone The problem is what is being called "inflation" are mostly fallout from global supply chain disruptions that the US government has basically zero control over.

And even George, the idiot of Crawford understood that the POTUS has virtually no say in the oil price.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow That is all true, but people vote their pocketbooks, and they are paying more now for groceries and gasoline, and to many, that is all that matters.

Did you go back under your rock? 🤨
@independentone I agree. But they blame the president because bullshit "news" entertainment lie to them and tell them "Biden bad". If the news was still the news they would inform people why this shit is happening in the first place. Explain that they are getting gouged by corporations to cover their loses.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow It goes deeper than that, due to the pandemic, and people locking down last year, they started buying stuff and fixing up their houses with the money they saved by not going out to dinner 3 times a week. More demand, more containers needed, ships got larger to handle the demand yet the ports are the same size and can't handle the amount of containers coming in. Over a hundred ships going in circles in Long Beach Ca and that costs time and fuel money. Truckers, the ones hauling the containers, were never treated very well by the dock workers, so they have no incentive to step up production. Ports are now open 24 hrs a day, but why would some trucker pick up their container in San Pedro at 1 AM and then take that container to Santa Monica - 25 miles away to some place that doesn't open until 10? I don't have the answers to solving this problem, but until prices get so high people quit buying, I see no end to it.
@independentone Actually the biggest disruption was and still is a cargo container shortage which is for the same reason as every other factory good. The problem is that effects everything, cargo ships, trains, trucks. They are all just flat surfaces with a cargo contains strapped to it now. Nobody has dedicated boxcars anymore for example. And the increased demand in niche markets doesn't really compensate for everything else falling off a cliff either.
@independentone The reason you are seeing massive cargo ships sitting around is because if they can't load enough goods to fill the ship it will be operating at a lose. And with contain shortages that is a real issue right now. Nobody is going to send a half empty ship across the globe.

Another right winger who would fail a high school Econ class.
@sunsporter1649 Thank you for kindly proving my point. Right wingers can't do economics...or even critical thinking apparently.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Sure seems like your left-wing nut job islamo-nazi marxist economic policies are bullschiff
@sunsporter1649 Figures someone like you would think mashing together random scary sounding words (to a right wing nut) together actually is something meaningful.
@sunsporter1649 Still advertising bog roll I see.
