@ElwoodBlues I think we can do better than a 17th century model, loosely based on a model used by elites in Ancient Greece. Ironically all the restrictions on voting the right is in favor of is actually pretty much in keeping with democracy if you go with the ancient Greek definitions.

I think we can and should do better. For one, having representative democracy exclusively in the political realm while spending 90% of your life in an absolute dictatorship in the economic sphere makes no sense at all and makes the political somewhat pointless.
