@eMortal The only Muslim-majority country which is even close to having the capability to invade an unsupported Israel is Turkey, but Turkey can't invade because it's in NATO, and also there's a US carrier strike group right off the coast. Closest reasonably powerful country that's not heavily aligned with the US is Iran, and the supply lines they'd have to use would be comically vulnerable, stretching directly through two completely flat war-torn countries. And Iran's military is really more of an asymmetric force anyway, just not well specialized for that kind of operation.

@BlueVeins what makes you think Turkey won’t flip on NATO. You hear Erdogan every night on TV accusing Nato of looking away.

You, after great difficulty, eventually gave some answers. Sadly, the answers still make no sense. I still don't know how social media makes us less inclined to engage in war. Russia and Ukraine have social media (ВКонтакте is very popular), but it didn't prevent them from going to war. Apparently it wasn't a good enough distraction.

You may choose to be a victim at the whim of imaginary government mandates, but I can assure you most of the sane, free world has no such self-imposed psychological chain and ball around their ankles. For at least the thousandth time, I'm not saying there won't be hostilities, power grabs, and ego plays taking place. I am saying to you with the wisdom from my life experience that there won't be a WORLD WAR.

If Russians were committed to war as you claim, they wouldn't have turned a 1-month special exercise according to Putin into a 1.5 year exercise and counting with multiple setbacks and a destroyed home life and economy with no end in sight. If that is your idea of endurance and commitment, then you are even crazier than you are letting on.

Your superficial conclusions based on your feelings of the moment are embarrassing. What is the highest level of schooling you have completed? Be honest so I know exactly what I am dealing with here.

Instead of hoping, wishing, and praying for a 3rd World War, maybe you should lower your expectations and just complete a productive education. You can let me know if you need my tutoring. While I wasn't present for either World War, technically, I do have knowledge of both from my studies. I am of the opinion I have a moral obligation to share my insight to those who lack any. With that being said, if your goal is to impress me, you are not succeeding.

@eMortal are you sure? Suppose that is true, than that doesn't automatically mean that there can't be a civil war. If one side is armed, it probably is finished sooner. Anyway, let's hope things are not going to escalate any further.

U.S election will be next year, and the outcome could change the war. If Israel and Iran go to war prior to that, Russia could see an opportunity to further attack Ukraine or use harsher methods.

@SW-User just look at the war between Russia and Ukraine. Russia still hasn't beat them and it has been going on for a year all most two year's. Sure they have nukes. But if they fired one at NATO or the states it is over for Russia. Pretty much the same for Japan and China

China is not likely to use nukes. Japan doesn't have any.

Russia, however, possibly would use theirs. This would be if provoked, if they were running out of manpower and options in Ukraine, or if they saw a good opportunity for it.

If the U.S elects a leader who does not provide much support to Ukraine after next year, it could be that Ukraine still tries to fight but can't, or Russia could be more aggressive in its attacks. They probably would not have to be if Ukraine receives less support, but the potential of Russia wanting a perceived quick victory at this point cannot be ruled out.

If the Middle East is at war, Russia and Ukraine could easily escalate. That is, unless Russia secures a victory for itself prior to this, which is not likely with the West funding and assisting Ukraine.
