What is the likelihood of a world war occuring in the near future? Will it happen soon or in many years to come?

@SW-User China needs a stable world to grow her economy. She has been very effective in lifting 800 million Chinese out of poverty by working hard at manufacturing goods for the world. She still has much to do to raise the economic level of the Chinese people. If the US has not been confronting her as an enemy, China would not have diverted her resources to build up her military to face down the US in the South China Sea.
