In my opinion someone's fingers are itching to push the nuke buttons. And it seems as if the US will once again, as they eagerly could not wait to do it with Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the warmongers they are, do it once again. Immediately after that the world may come to it's senses and we will enter a much different era.
