@IAmJess I doubt that. Having something on you for self defense is always a good idea. Just saying. Pepper spray/bear spray is hard to beat

@IAmJess New York. Savannah (along with New Orleans) has an unusually high Irish Catholic crowd for the South

Savannah and Boston have a connection going back to the Revolutionary War. Through the years many Bostonians relocated there

@IAmJess So many places, depends on your likes and interests. First solo trip probably easiest to get your feet wet in the US or Europe. Very easy to get around and even in Europe, most people speak some English. Would recommend London, Paris, Rome or Amsterdam. Start with touring the cities, then branch out to see more of the country. When I can, I like to base myself in a city and then do day trips out into the country so I’m not constantly moving to different hotels.

@IAmJess I travelled and lived with loads of different people. I very rarely slept in the same bed twice. I was still doing onlyfans at the time so that was my main job. I occasionally helped people in exchange for food and a bed

@IAmJess That’s true. But I have been to Oahu, Maui, the big island, Kauai, Molokai and Lani. I like the big island best.

@tfan123 weekends away with family sometimes and with friends other times. It's kinda a thing when you're from Boston. We hate NY, but love visiting! 😂

If I were to go anywhere it would be my father's and mother's respective countries, the Czech Republic and Romania. I didn't get to go there. I was supposed to though.

@DeWayfarer Yeah, I've read about things in both countries. Both are supposed to be quite nice, but if I recal right, Czech is safer than Romania, right?

@IAmJess I have no idea now. I was 14, at the time. And being alone was one of the reasons I couldn't go there. Both were behind the iron curtain then.

I did have Visas on my passport for both. Yet no parent to cross the iron curtain, which was as well required for anyone under 18.

@Sevendays rather travel alone? I'm not sure if it's my preference, but right now none of my friends can afford to and I want something more than a family vaca.

@IAmJess yes. I took a road trip by myself a few years ago, from the east coast to the west coast and back. I met lots of people and met up with old friends. It was great.

@IAmJess actually I went there first with co workers on a business trip to Grand Rapids. The place looked so nice I wanted to explore but we were there for business so I didnt get a chance. So then I decided to take a couple vacation days and flew back there on my own to check out the town.

@IAmJess yes went to Miami for a week in the winter was snow at home but sunny and warm there then back home to snow but went by myself
