What's the first thing you did the day you turned 18?

First thing at 18, that I did, I don't remember. Had move during that summer for the upcoming highschool senior year. So I did have to quit my job, at a Italian restaurant, around that time.

Yeah I was set behind in grade school a year, for not being sociable. They claimed fighting, I still disagree. You defend yourself, if you're being bullied. And I won that fight. Never happened again either. The bullies left me alone. Even when I came back.

Second grade, I had to take over, at a different school. Yet they accepted me back for the third grade.

I worked all that summer. I had fun too. I had a new gf and we went on road trips. I saved money and went to Europe for 4 months before I started college the following year. That was back when a day in southern Europe cost about $25. Those days are long gone now.

Got my ears pierced. My dad had always forbidden me to get them done but it was something I wanted to do. I just thought "I'm an adult now" so off I went. He didn't speak to me for two weeks but it was worth it.

Woke up in a small apartment on my own that i had to work 2 jobs to be able to afford and listened to music while i encouraging myself to keep going because one day everything would be better and make perfect sense and eventually it did. 🙏🏼💕

I was still in high school. I guess nothing special. When I graduated high school I drank beer and whiskey with my best friend before going off to college. He flunked out of college later when I was 2 years into college (he was held back a few times)

I was 7 weeks short of high school graduation and 8 weeks until I began college. That was wonderful enough.

Moved out on my own

Went to the bar (drinking age was 18 then)

Swam in the Mediterranean . . I was spending the summer with my parents on the British base at Akrotiri, Cyprus.
