@Scouser Because only I am in control of myself and sometimes I think I know better than others. It's something I need to work on. Sometimes life would be easier if we were puppets, but then we wouldn't learn anything or grow.

@mindstruggle I was, too, for a long time. But then I decided to sign up for a team lead position where I worked. We had "Green Rooms" at shift starts, with 30+ production workers.
Oh, I was so nervous the first couple of times, but it got easier when I started formatting everything I needed to cover more simply. And not focusing on "the room". After a couple of weeks, I overcame that phobia, or at least can manage it better.

@Scouser well its pretty scary when you think about it.

Pain is tolerable when you have someone to calm you, or you know help is coming.

But when you're alone the pain gets to you. It starts to drive you crazy. You can end up in a rolling panic which makes the pain beyond bearable.

Same here but from a different viewpoint. Go downtown to a very tall building, stand with your back flat against that building then look up with your eyes looking farther and farther up toward the top.

I guarantee your knees will buckle.
