As a former Airborne Infantryman who trained on a M14 as a designated squad sniper (for a while at least), having fired in arctic, jungle and desert conditions using M16s, M4s (AR-15s are the civilan varient), 50 cals, M249s, M240s, shotguns, and some weird stuff handed to me at firing ranges, I know for a fact it is impossible to be reasonably expected to shoot a target the size of a ear from any distance farther than 5 feet away, especially if wind is involved.
Trump owns and has show weapons before (I assume he shot his weapons in NY to qualify for conceal carry). I do not believe anyone with a IQ high enough to pass a gun course will say it is a good idea to have someone target their ear from a couple of hundred meters away. A sniper trains to hit "center mass" at such a target, that means the chest. Not a puny ear. You don't target the ear, it's right next to the brain.
So no, Trump did not set this up. He was already leading in all the swing states with growing momentum. I wouldn't trust even a sniper in the President's 100 (100 top military snipers, and they tend to be women with tits cause their boobs act as stabilizing bipods) with the best gear out there. I've seen the best gear, I had to work as a slave for the Ranger's A Team (I failed to join the rangers and got drafted into slace duties for them as I awaited my new unkt orders) , seen what the most elite snipers we have use. None of that stuff will consistently target just a ear with no margin of failure. It's insane. Army basic training, as some have suggested on this site, does not even remotely give you the skillset to target a head. It's all center mass, and they don't teach you how to adjust for the wind. That's very advanced stuff only a few get high level access to. A good infantryman can hit a target at 1000 yards, and by hit I mean anywhere on the target, enough that the pop up goes down. They get to be snipers. Alot of guys struggle at just 25 yards, close enough to throw a rock at it.
These are professional infantryman. Rifle is their lives. Most people can't shoot. Mlst gun collectors have no idea how to use their weapons. I do, and I don't own a gun. Think it's a mental crutch for their short comings. And a AR-15 is a low caliber crap weapon for hunting deer (I live real close to Butler PA) and you don't buy it for hunting but rather because you seen it on movies and videogames and want to look cool. Alot of police use it merely because they recruit infantry veterans and makes mass training much easier as you're bound to have several experts trained on it day one of recruiting. But it's a crap sniper weapon. It's best for door to door fighting. People say to use it in the jungle like Vietnam but they never had leaces and little vines get stuck all through it when low crawling through a bush with it. Way better stuff to use. The sex would be a woman, her age double this guy's age, and it be a two man team, and nobody skilled enough would agree to do it because it can't be safely done.
I think it could be. I mean just because people were killed doesn’t mean it’s not all planned. It’s very easy with the power and influence Trump has to convince the assassin that he’ll get whatever he wants for this and then kill him anyways. Politics are the literal future of an entire country. Of course people will be willing to do whatever it takes to get their wanted positions in it.
@BlueVeins Maybe God warned him to be aside but he would have said just like @BlueVeins "Hey, That inner voice is, not from God, it is only me wanting to duck aside"
Satan kills and he is the author of confusion and it can hurt anybody.
@SW-User Trains derail; bridges collapse; on Jan. 27, 1967, a fire swept through the Apollo 1 command module during a launch rehearsal, killing three astronauts trapped inside. We are all human, we are not demi-gods, and shit happens. People watch too many movies. They may think Secret Service agents are something like James "007" Bond; but they aren't.
The story that is emerging is that he was a loner in school, frequently bullied mostly centered around his clothing and social isolation, fascinated with guns, wore clothing depicting “2nd Amendment” and firearms, displayed Trump paraphernalia in his yard, was a registered Republican and last voted in Pennsylvania’s 2022 closed Republican primary. It appears that this kid’s violent tendencies were stoked by Trump and that he relatively recently came to feel Trump was deceitful, untrustworthy, and manipulated his followers to commit crimes.
This is the kind of emotional tinder that Trump keeps trying to ignite and his efforts turned back on him this time. If you are feeling sorry for Trump, think on this: at his rallies he openly mocks the violent attack on Paul Pelosi. Trump is already trying to weaponize this assassination attempt despite the fact that he and his followers & enablers are the only ones injecting violence into the campaign.
Corey Comperatore, the firefighter who died at the scene, used his body to shield his family. He was an avid Trump supporter. According to Helen Compertore (his wife) Joe Biden attempted to call the family to give his condolences, but she declined to speak to him. He says that although she is a Trump supporter and plans to vote for him she bears no ill will toward President Biden and she stated to reporters that President Biden “didn’t harm her family.”
It speaks volumes that Trump has made no effort to contact the family.
On the one hand, I seriously doubt Trump would allow a plan that involved a bullet shot anywhere near him, much less at him. And I have a hard time picturing a scenario that Crooks could be talked into giving his life for a publicity stunt.
In the other hand, Trump’s multiple tweets of “all hell will break loose” trying to get as many eyes on this rally as possible rings very closely to Bannon’s “all hell will break loose” and Trump’s “it’s gonna be wild” just before the J6 event.
In the end, I’ll wait to hear the results of the multiple independent investigations taking place.
@BohemianBabe could she holster her weapon? No i am repeating what many others have said because its actually what happened. She clearly was not qualified, in fact i will go as far and say that none of them were due to the massive fuckups they did not prevent
@Torsten None of them were doing what secret service is supposed to do. But sure, let's say that one woman wasn't qualified. That's still not what DEI is. DEI doesn't mean they just hire anyone who is underrepresented. It means there's an outreach to groups that have previously been shut out of certain fields. This includes people from rural areas that were shut out of certain industries because they lived too far away, but can now work in those fields because of modern transportation. DEI does NOT mean if a corporation doesn't have any black women, they go out and hire the first black woman they find. People still have to be qualified.
It was staged ... by the ADPC. The American Democratic Production Company. Barack Obama, producer. Hillary Clinton, director. Peter Buttigieg, Best Boy.
@basilfawlty89 @helenS Helen, there is no point making these blind people understand something. He moved another inch and the bullet hsve been between his head. It doesn't matter which gun you are using. Any strike would kill a person from any distance.
A person has to be really jealous of Donald Trump to narrate these conspiracy theories. Other than that, I don't see any man won't endanger his life for it.
If it was staged, then it must have been rehearsed which means the shooter knew where to shoot and i dont think he was eyeing for his RIGHT EAR precisely considering the air pressure, the drift and everything.
If he would have shot 1 bullet, it could have been staged but 4 bullets, you really seem to be hating Trump at every occasion in your life. wow. How can people be so blind?
Also, one ministry of God visioned this whole incident 6 months ago, "A bullet will pierce through his ear"
I'm with @TheOneyouwerewarnedabout, kinda ironic that the people who've been screeching about supposed right wing "conspiracy theories" like russian collusion, hunters laptop, ashleys diary, etc. for years after they've been proven true...
have suddenly become conspiracy theorists only days after an assassination attempt, before any credible report has been released... 🤔
@sree251 well, we know the dims are hellbent are making sure trump doesn't win again and they've weaponized the justice system, so you know, nothing would surprise me. they're certainly capable of it. we need a full scale january 6th-style investigation for sure.
I'd say it is very likely. Making yourself look like a martyr is a good way to garner sympathy. Back then Putyin orcastrated an attack and claimed he can protect the citizens 🤷♀️it worked,he is in power since 1999
I don’t think we will ever know for sure if was real or staged. I say that, looking back at the Kennedy and MLK assassinations. To this day, there is no certainty regarding the truth. Then there is the fact that is debatable whether the FBI and DOJ’s loyalties are to the Whitehouse or the American People…all of the of the American People, without regard to politics.
What I find more disturbing is the people in previous comments who are so adamant in their assertions on both sides…who are so absolute in their certainty, when only the merest of facts are known.
@autumngirl27 The caliber of the bullet would absolutely make a difference. There are bullets meant for precision shots, and bullets meant to maximize damage. The shooter was using a bullet that was not meant to do a lot of damage. That's part of what informs my assumption than the intent was not to kіӏӏ Trump.
Is Trump the kind of person, capable of doing it. Possibly, although killing two people that way , it seems extreme even for him. His wound was the result of glass fragments , not a bullet. And his timing on the fist pump seems too convenient. Secret service men, usually don’t give anyone a moment in the open after shots are fired, there’s always the chance there could be more than one shooter. The deaths make it unlikely it was staged, but he is going to milk it for all it’s worth.
@Dignaga Also the rapid fire suggest the shooter had little control over where he was shooting as each shot’s recoil required a few seconds to restabaljze and reaim. The fire was so rapid that everything after the first shot was scattered , thus killing or wounding people 10 yards away. Those scattered shots could have gone anywhere. Sadly , one killed someone and two severely wounded people.
My own experience on a firing range was at least 5 seconds between shots
@Spoiledbrat He probably wasn’t. Or possibly he knew he was exposed and rapid fired. Imagine looking through binoculars then jerk them and reacquire to a steady lock.it takes a few seconds.
I doubt it was staged too many things can go wrong
Of course it was staged. The cops were well aware of the guy long before the shooting started. They knew he was on the roof and did nothing. One clown even fell off of the roof. The guy was specifically recruited to be the victim. Any intelligent person should know that the orange traitor was not actually shot in the ear. That is 100% fake.
I believe in evidence and I see no evidence pointing to the fact that it was staged. I’m very disappointed in the left for buying into ridiculous conspiracy theories. We used to be above that.
@QueenOfZaun Whenever anything like that happens, conspirationalists will have a field day. See, for example, 9/11, or the murder of J F Kennedy. I heard some say the shooter acted on behalf of J. Biden 🙄
@GlitterEater Apparently I have been blocked, so I'm starting a new thread. I do now, yes, I shamefully admit it was in the middle of a cranky insomniac middle of the night and I wasn't thinking straight, I apologize :(
