@HoraceGreenley Everyone wnats to believe that the secret service or any kind of police force are the most competent people who have ever lived because they watch too many movies. Every single time government documents are revealed it becomes extremely clear that these people have always been really bad at their jobs.

When Reagan was shot, the Secret Service detail picked him up and ran with him to his armored car. His feet never touched the ground and it took a few seconds.

The 5'5" women on Trump's detail aren't big enough to shield him or carry him bodily even with 4 or 5 agents. Trump is 6'2" and a chubby 5'5" women is useless.

Afterwards they were so nervous they couldn't holster their weapons.

Our security chief at my office was part of the Reagan SS crew during that atrocity (he's in all the famous pictures from it)

They did a great job getting him away but did fuck up by allowing the breach
