The story that is emerging is that he was a loner in school, frequently bullied mostly centered around his clothing and social isolation, fascinated with guns, wore clothing depicting “2nd Amendment” and firearms, displayed Trump paraphernalia in his yard, was a registered Republican and last voted in Pennsylvania’s 2022 closed Republican primary. It appears that this kid’s violent tendencies were stoked by Trump and that he relatively recently came to feel Trump was deceitful, untrustworthy, and manipulated his followers to commit crimes.
This is the kind of emotional tinder that Trump keeps trying to ignite and his efforts turned back on him this time. If you are feeling sorry for Trump, think on this: at his rallies he openly mocks the violent attack on Paul Pelosi. Trump is already trying to weaponize this assassination attempt despite the fact
that he and his followers & enablers are the only ones injecting violence into the campaign.
Corey Comperatore, the firefighter who died at the scene, used his body to shield his family. He was an avid Trump supporter. According to Helen Compertore (his wife) Joe Biden attempted to call the family to give his condolences, but she declined to speak to him. He says that although she is a Trump supporter and plans to vote for him she bears no ill will toward President Biden and she stated to reporters that President Biden “didn’t harm her family.”
It speaks volumes that Trump has made no effort to contact the family.
