You’ve been to the Kentucky Derby, or know someone who has?
@boklenholley7
@DarkNebula nope haha there's lots of Lexingtons in lots of states: Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland (Lexington Park), Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.

DrWatson · 70-79, M
I lived in the Bronx until I was 8 years old, and then we moved to the NYC suburbs on Long Island.
DarkNebula · M
You were born and raised a YANKEES FAN?
@DrWatson
DrWatson · 70-79, M
@DarkNebula My father was a big Yankees fan. I went to a couple of games -- one was at the stadium that people today call "the old Yankee Stadium", and one was at the stadium before that one!

But when we were living on Long Island, the NY Mets were created, and I was a Mets fan from their very first atrocious season.

Nowadays, I do not follow sports much at all.
dancingtongue · 80-89, M
City? The nearest town was nine miles, population less than 20, the first 6 years. Then a succession of bigger towns in California's Central Valley, the last having a population 2,300 at the time, before I left for college.
originally called Bottle Hill when settled in the 1700's. later was known as the Rose City. just a nice town in NJ
DarkNebula · M
You like going to real old-school diners?

@saragoodtimes
Thrust · 56-60, M
@saragoodtimes

SGT, remember a few years ago when Farliegh Dickinson made the Sweet 16? Then reality hit them like a sledge hammer when hey faced Gonzaga.

I went to college, and played baseball with their coach Greg Herenda

KiwiDan · 31-35, M
@DarkNebula only a few words
DarkNebula · M
How widely is it actually spoken?
@KiwiDan
KiwiDan · 31-35, M
@DarkNebula not super widely. More than the indigenous languages of other colonised nations maybe, but still not everywhere. Maybe as popular as French in Canada - some use it, and it's used in media, but it's not the most spoken
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
Born in Apple valley.

The list is rather long in how many cities I grew up in, so just the counties.

Counties:
San Bernardino,
Orange,
Riverside
San Diego
DarkNebula · M
You love In-N-Out Burgers?

@DeWayfarer
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@DarkNebula I refuse to even go there.

Not that there's one in this whole-in-the-wall city.

Fortunately INO isn't a big chain BTW

You're more likely to find a Carl's Jr in all the cities I have lived in.

INO likes to make themselves a whole lot bigger, than they really are. Limit the stores, so those stores all look busy.

Nice little Christian brainwashing trick. Force the customer to you to look popular, when you're not popular.
