North Korea must be running out of rice.

NATO are involved....not overtly.
Who knows whats going on over there. The propaganda from both points of view is off the charts.
What we do know.....the only people suffering are citizens of all creeds. The parasite class are benefiting.
My personal opinion is we are witnessing a convergence of a global power structure and these nation spats and the soon to become more obvious, west v brics is just a reason to destroy this current system, a plan......hence the pushing of the phrases "reset", "build back better" and "the new normal".
We have less of a chance to stand against this if we are fighting each other......a lesson we should have learnt centuries ago

@gol979 People who cheered on the spread of a virus that could've been contained and eliminated just like its predecessors, over their fear of being "controlled", are de facto being controlled by dictatorial regimes that they promptly defend and help, by taking care of reiterating their anti-west propaganda.
And what do these morons do, move to lawless places, coherently to their "we don't need governments to live a good life" stance? Of course not. They'll complain about the government, without ever going out of the reach of the protective arm of said government.
In other words - have you moved to Scampia, NA (IT) as of yet, or are you still keeping your a$s warm in the U.K.?

@gol979 I'm not. The one scared of and paranoid about western governments, to the point of having to pull them out of your a*se e ieven when it's Russia doing sh*t isn't me here.
Again, if you're so much against western civilization, move somewhere else out of the west's reach? Central Africa for instance, nobody would care to vaccinate you from anything down there if you don't want to

It's all about military equipment, not the sheer number of troops.
The outcome would be: tens of thousands of poorly-equipped Korean soldiers dying in the Ukrainian meat grinder.

a few less korean we will have to worry about.. this is not all about ukraine freedom. its about weakling russia to the point it will not be a threat for decades also.

@markansas I mean I think political engagement is good but the US has no real alternative options and is a first past the post system. Voting is kind of the least useful form of civil engagement in the systems in place in most of the Commonwealth.
Then again in the USA you can get 1 million people to protest in the streets, completely ignore them and still call yourself a government of the people, for the people.
Something is very broken.

@markansas That is nice to believe. But revolutionary change has never in history happened by playing by the rules of the existing order.
If things really changed the words of Dr. King and Malcolm X would read like quaint oddities from history instead like commentary on current events.

If this is true, expect some mass desertions from the NK troops
helenS · 36-40, F
@stratosranger Some might even join the Ukrainian forces! 👍
chrisCA · M
@stratosranger During the first Gulf War, Iraqi troops were surrendering on mass.
stratosranger · M
@chrisCA Yes they were. Running joke was we could have hired Colonel Sanders to win that war. Those were some hungry sand rats
plungesponge · 41-45, M
Nato could have sent in troops already if they wanted, they don't want a war with Russia. Most of Europe still needs a Russia to trade with and not spark a migration crisis. What they want to is for Ukraine and Russia to fight each other exclusively until they are exhausted. Russia has the weapons of mass destruction to completely wreck Ukraine, but it's ground forces have been unexpectedly weak. They may not be able to hold territory but they can raze the cities until there's nothing left to defend
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
If 2 war ships couldn't best 13 shivering Ukrainians on a rock. 100k koreans wont do it.
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
More likely, once they get on the field they'll surrender and ask for asylum.
BlueVeins · 22-25
NATO can't really send troops to Ukraine because it would create a very high risk of nuclear war. Russia is massively struggling still, but they've succeeded at taking a big chunk of the country, tragically.
deadgerbil · 26-30
Idk if nato forces want to risk escalation by throwing their own troops into the mix
And yes, Putin has been losing despite what certain crack pots have been saying. What was thought of as the second most powerful military in the world now is looking for North Korean volunteers... Pretty embarrassing

1..NATO could do that anytime..but won’t.
They should.
2 If Putin is asking for peace talks all the more reason not to have them.
And for all we know they could be happening.

Lol this is an English translation of a report reported by a top tier Ukrainian war propagandist Yuri Butusov. And this is fb account

Only fools think Russia will ever do any peace talk. They will keep bombing until they take everything what they believe are rightfully theirs. Only fools say otherwise.
Ps. Russia gained control of Peski two days ago also after wiping out the Ukraine troops. 🤷

The whole world is, of course, rightfully theirs.

@helenS they never claimed whole world is theirs but they wanted Ukraine to respect Minsk agreement. You can cry nonetheless. Lol

although a complete different strength of military might and weapons between north korea and the nato forces , it shows how the little gremlin in the kremlin with all there military might are going down the same road after there defeat in afghanistan and withdrawl with there tail between there legs in the early eighties . one nutcase coming to the aid of another basically [doong]
smiler2012 · 56-60
@ididntknow why do they need help then explain that one
ididntknow · 51-55, M
@smiler2012 maybe help was offered, but definitely not needed, you’ll see, very soon
smiler2012 · 56-60
@ididntknow can you be more explicit
Khenpal1 · M
Fake news according to N.Korea embassy . Its not even physically possible due to covid, logistic etc.
ididntknow · 51-55, M
What a load of rubbish 😋 where do you get your propaganda, Russia are only using 25 to 30% of their force,
ididntknow · 51-55, M
@chrisCA which experts are these, you really shouldn’t listen to the liberal left wing media, it’s all propaganda you know
chrisCA · M
@ididntknow "liberal left wing media" 😅 You are too much.
ididntknow · 51-55, M
@chrisCA for you yes
nedkelly · 61-69, M
At least they will get a decent feed
One or two reports indicate they would be laborers. Sending combat troops is a recipe for a potentially much larger conflict.
@chrisCA what are you asking , meaning “they”? Do you mean the reports or North Koreans, either laborers or troops?
chrisCA · M
@soar2newhighs I got the impression that the troops would be used as labourers.
@chrisCA if any number of “laborers” go from N. Korea to Ukraine or I should say, break away republics, it would be watched very closely by The U. S. and NATO nations.
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
1. No.
2. An offensive is strategically still a smart play when negotiating peace because it puts you in the position of having the upper hand.
But, yes overall things have not been going well for Russia.

Well the North Korean soldiers will fight for food..😷
Elessar · 26-30, M
North Korea is as much of a threat to Ukraine as I am if I sat at the Russian border and threw paper airplanes to it
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
@Elessar Speaking of planes though I am curious how they plan to get them in country. North Korea has a massive army but virtually no heavy lift capabilities.
Elessar · 26-30, M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow It'll be a logistical nightmare. Russia itself was a sh*tshow with its own logistics, imagine a malnourished country that has never even tried projecting force any farther than its own southern border.

Russia needs help from North Korea to put down Ukraine? So much for Putin putting the Soviet Union back together.
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
@graphite The idea of Putin recreating the USSR has largely been a conservative talking point but not really based on anything beyond a speech Hillary Clinton gave one time.
He does seem to like Alexander Dugin who is all about a conservative right wing Russian empire though.

Ever see Kim's boys goosestep? I saw a North Korean propaganda video (made by hired American video pros) on YouTube. Perhaps the best goosestepping evah!
Cierzo · M
It makes sense. They would be deployed in Lugansk and Donetsk and North Korea has recognized the independence of both republics.
