Tricolor salad (here made with avocado; sometimes with green salad) is quick as it only has three ingredients plus dressing. Have some bread with it and you've got a quick meal. Had some today! 🙂
Soups. I usually make a large pot of soup when I make it. Had Italian lentil soup with hot Italian sausage for lunch today. I also made a crockpot of pinto beans last week, with Splenda instead of brown sugar, and added quite a few large chunks of ham. That's a meal in itself.
Banana(s) with whipped cream. Cucumber peeled and sliced with a little bowl of ranch dressing. Mic a pot pie for 1:11 then bake in toaster oven for 15 minutes while making a bag of steamed veggies for 15 minutes or til done. Add together. Salt to taste with a bit of blue bonnet spread usually
Pan seared filet mignon with a red wine and cracked pepper reduction sauce. With a side of asparagus sautéed in butter with lemon and diced garlic , the pan sauce being spooned over the asparagus at plating.
Cool thread and nice to meet you. low sugar oatmeal with oat milk. veggies in the frig are pretty easy to fix. veggie corn dogs and beans. rice with steam veggies. Pancakes in the mornings.
Fry a steak in a pan with butter. Remove steak when ready. While it rests, fry an egg or two in the juices left in the pan. Finally, toss in a handful of green beans into the same pan after the eggs are done.
If you need carbs, "bake" a small to medium potatoe in the microwave. Wash, rub with olive oil and then salt it. Stab the hell out of it with a fork, then wrap in a wet paper towel and pop it in the microwave. It can microwave while you cook in the pan.
At the end of it all, you've got 3 or 4 courses. You've dirtied one pan, a fork, a spatula, and a plate. Maybe a knife if you want to use one with the steak. Minimal processing of food.
