Comme ci, comme ca. Some times we don’t speak for years on end, some times we chat weekly. She gets weird paranoid ideas sometimes and decides I’m the one who ruined her entire life so she’ll stop taking my calls. Other times I’ll get bent over how needlessly abrasive she gets and I’ll stop answering hers. I can also be brutally blunt in my opinions of her behavior which ends either of us calling the other for a while.
@Zaphod42 My oldest brother is a conspiracy freak that leans towards the sovereign citizen movement, and my other older brother is a dimwitted religious jeebus freak that got confused by a pair of Darwin Fish bumper stickers, the CoExist and Evolve ones, he even asked the car owner to know what they meant, it took all my strength to keep a straight face and not bust out laughing. It happened in Minneapolis in 1998

@NativePortlander1970 I know the feeling…my sis was a conspiracy nut too. She might still be but now knows better than to share with me, lol.
When she told me how NASA was trying to ignite Jupiter into a star with a nuclear powered probe for whatever nefarious reason, I explained how Jupiter needed to be at least five times it’s current mass to even be a failed star, and ten times to be a tiny star, and that the lightning strikes that occur daily there are already the power of the bomb dropped on Nagasaki and they don’t do a thing.
When she told me the moon landing was fake, I asked her how many people she trusted to keep a secret forever. She said none. I told her 400,000 people were involved in the Apollo missions and none have ever spoken up. What are the odds they could ALL keep a secret that big for that long.

@Moneyonmymind The very short answer is he was radicalised by a fundamentalist Christian group became a minister in their church and cut us all out. I wouldn’t say he is a bad person just a person I don’t recognise anymore.

@Moneyonmymind he's always had beef with me. He's 9 years older and different mom so he picked on me. He currently doesn't like the way I raise my son because I don't beat him for being a kid.

I have a sister 4 yrs younger. Since having to take her to court to get any share of our late mum's estate in March last yr I know she will never talk to me again because she wanted the full million dollar estate for herself and I was going to get zero. I sent her a message at Christmas but got no response.

We see each other often. My older brother comes around for Sunday Roast once a month. I visit my younger brother whenever his missus is up for it. They have had their first baby and very tired. And during the school holidays My other brothers kids come up and stay a week or two with me.

My siblings are my favorite people in the world & I'm always so happy when I get to spend time with any of them.
Even my youngest siblings say they love talking to me because I'm just honest & don't talk to 'em like kids 😌 it makes me happy that they all like my company too

They all rejected me when we were still children.
They're probably not responsible for their dangerous levels of contempt. After all, they were kids. But when you shove sissy to the floor and she's 38, and you're 37 years old, she gives up on you.

Older half brother - we get along great but do not interact much.
Younger step sis - we barely interact. We do okay in small doses but couldn't be around each other on the regular.
