I've been spared too much violence. What event was really terrifying and sent me into direct shock at the time was a sudden evaluation meeting with my new boss and her henchman. They made me feel like I was nothing at all. Came out of there with suidice ideas. Went home and picked up the phone to my trade union. The woman at the other end listened for a full half hour of me telling her my story and then told me that she would take it up stairs. Those are the magic words, I guess. Someone will do something with your plight

narrowly escaped from being robbed and killed by a person (with his associates) who I thought I knew well and bound me to leave my job and the city where I was lived for long and bound me to live a almost hiding life now

I was attacked and they electrocuted me with a tazer directly on my heart, in my mind all I could see was black and hear the sound of the tazer like nothing else existed and it felt like it was sucking out the life from me and I felt like when it will have finished draining me I will die. I was suffering from PTSD for a while and someone directed me to EP as a good place to talk with strangers and express myself, and from EP I ended up here. that wasnt the worst thing that happened to me but the other stuff I can't even talk about.

The woman I deeply loved, having a dual personality and not only wielding a knife but striking me with a knife, within 3 months of her doctor perscribing her Adderall. No joke!

My apartment was taken over. My gf was seperared from me. I didnt know what they were doing with her. I got back to her months later. Her mind was destroyed.

I chocked on a piece of chicken during lunch at a restaurant. I went 2 minutes without air.

when my wife had a stroke....six months ago....still not even starting to get over it.

Had a knife held to my throat on two separate occasions and had a gun pointed at my face on another.

I came close to falling to my death off of a cliff while traversing a steep slope covered in a Matt of small suculants that I thought were rooted to the ground but were actually only lightly rooted in sand and the entire slope began to slide down when I got out to the middle of it, all of the plants were falling off of the cliff like a waterfall and I had to lie flat with my arms and legs spread out to keep myself from sliding off the cliff with the plants

I was alone and came within a few scant feet of going over the edge and falling a hundred feet or more to the rocks and surf below.

I managed to inch my way up and sideways over the course of what seemed like hours until I reached some rocky terrain and solid ground.
I thought I was going to die that day.

Emergency surgery after haemorrhaging for days

Walking home from the bus one night when I was a college student, and I heard gunshots nearby. Not knowing exactly where they came from and just how much danger I was in was the scary part.

I got mugged in London by five girls, it was so scary, they kicked me and said they had knives.

I was on an alpine slide ride with my child who was 5 at the time. It started to rain which caused the track to turn into a water slide and the brakes on the ride completely failed.

Asthma attack which lead to a cardiac arrest.

My kid as a toddler slipped, hit her head on the tile and her eyes rolled back in her head and her body seized. She seized twice more on the way to the ER which was only about a mile away. When we got there she was totally fine and it was almost as if they didn't believe she even fell.

Being held at gun point is up there aside from being hit by a car. So.. could go either way really.

When we were in a bomb alert and had to escape the building quickly. Luckily it was a false alarm.

When I was 17 I was mugged by two guys, one of whom held a knife to my throat.

God is good and I pray better times for All.

Objectively most terrifying (I checked out mentally and felt nothing, not even fear)

i got jumped and surrounded by a group of like 25 guys. they were all laughing as they threw me around and beat me up. just because i was in the wrong place at the wrong time lol

surrounded by 4 guys each with a baseball bat in their hand. i wouldn't be here typing this if a cop hadn't have turned the corner at just the right time.

I got my lip slashed while trying to score drugs a couple years back. Could have had much worse happen than that. I've also had a gun pulled on me before.
