Many friendships have ended because someone couldn't accept that other people have different points of view.

I'm proud of myself

For not letting yet another person treat me like I'm a doormat and sticking up for myself.

I might not be a nice person...

But I'm a good person

When you have problems with alot of people...

Maybe that problem is you and not others.

I can't fall asleep

Unless I have the tv on in the background. I turn on an old sitcom I've seen alot and set the timer. I'm lulled to sleep by the familiar sounds

I listen to everyone else

But it feels like noone wants to listen to me....

Being Middle aged is fun

I've had trouble sleeping this week because a hot flash has made sleeping so uncomfortable. And if its not that, my bladder wakes me up. Now I know why middle aged women are seen as old and grumpy. We're hot and haven't had any sleep. 😄

Do other people get bored and want to eat? I try to distract my mind, but sometimes it's difficult. I bring just what I'll eat at work, but at home I have to force myself to not go to the kitchen.

Sometimes I need a break

From being there for everyone and taking care of them. Sometimes I wish I had someone to take care of me...

If I had it to do all over again

I would have realized how important intimacy is in a marriage instead of thinking love was enough.

Everyone wants to be an influencer

I don't understand why everyone thinks people want to see them clean or cook. Stop it. We don't care. We can watch ourselves cook and clean.

How do some people find someone to marry then?

Why even bother?

I feel like when I talk, he doesn't really listen to me. I mean, really listen so I stopped trying to talk to him about anything important.

Emotional intimacy

I struggle to open myself up to people. When I've tried, they've made me feel like what I've shared wasn't important. It gets very lonely feel like an island. I have many acquaintances, but not close friends.

Fitness/nutrition Social media influencers

I think largely they make trash videos that spread misinformation or flat out lies, but there have been a few that have helped me have a healthier view of food. I am grateful for that.

I look at other people my age and think, I don't look that old, do I? 🤣

I say that because I'm like a crack junkie. I have my sweets of choice but if I'm really craving sweets, I'll eat things that I really don't even like that much to satisfy my craving.
