No, of course not... cause you think it was "only verbally" as if that makes it better. But that can seriously effect people for years, or even the rest of their lives, it obviously had a big impact on your victim due to what he did to you.
He finally gets payback for what you [i]chose [/i]to put him through for several years and you just cry about it and play the victim, coming here to, in your own words, find "someone to agree with me and see my side". So you're not even thinking about the fact that this is a consequence of your actions and you just want everyone to actually feel sorry for you...

Yes but for a long time, people didn’t want to hang out with me because of the association. Like it felt like I was a total social outcast for a while. It’s still horrid to think of now. I just really wish he hadn’t done it to me, like if there was another way he could have dealt with it. People treat him like some kind of local legend and me as if I’m some kind of joke. 😭@Redstar

@Strongtea I wouldn't call being a nightmare to someone as "being that bad". Put yourself in his place and see how you would have felt if the tables were turned. It may not have seemed bad to you, but what if someone had done that to your brother or sister if you had one? You would have seen the torment and I don't think you would have liked it. Verbal abuse is just as bad as physical abuse. You are lucky he did not kill himself. Then how would you have felt? You don't know what went through his head. This is how people end up committing suicide, from people who bully them. It's not just an amusing past time. It's serious.

@Strongtea great, so to grow…use your imagination and travel back in time this time pretending you are the person getting bullied if you try to put yourself in his shoes, and carry that humiliated feeling back in time, pretend you were him, and feel those feeling for two years in your mind…That might help you grow compassion and understanding of him and others. So we learn as a society that this is not wise to do…it is not wise to bully. You are lucky he did not go crazy and decide to use a gun to teach ALL bullies… you’ve gone too far. You are lucky/blessed he chose a healthy way to teach you a lesson.
