I was a bully [I Was Bullied]

I was a bully at school and bullied one person for a couple of years. Apparently I made his life a nightmare he told a girl I was dating (they were both in the year below me.) I came home from university at Christmas last year and saw him, he’d started going to the gym, he literally picked me up and threw me in a huge pile of mud. All his friends cheered and clapped as I got up, covered. I can’t stand them. I cried for days afterwards, I was so upset. Do you think he was right?

I think you were wrong to bully him .. now he is living his dream of getting back at you.. at least mud is soft and harmless and you didn't get injured just dirty? But you owe him an apology for bullying him all those years and making his life hell.. why did you do that to him anyway?

It just made me feel really good and popular, I didn’t think he would stand up to me. I think he was so wrong to do what he did as I never got physical on him.@SStarfish

In what way did you bully him and how could you think that was making you popular? I guess you picked him because you thought he was weaker and you could get by with it? Do you not realize or care that all those years you were being an evil sadist and giving him a reason to resent you? @Strongtea

I only used to verbally bully him, I did make him get off the bus a few times if he got on the same one as me, I may have threatened him with violence now and then but yes only because I didn’t think he’d stand up to me. Now I feel scared every time I see him.@SStarfish

Well i guess now you know what its like to be intimidated.. but as the other guy said you don't seem to be the least bit sorry for the wrong you did to the kid.. maybe you don't realize you were wrong to be cruel to him.. so you haven't learned yet.. were you bullied within your family? Im just trying to understand why you thought it was ok in the first place when it’s not. @Strongtea
