Pork, taylor swift cds, anything from kellogs or pepsi or tyson, a new car (i like old cars) if i had billions of dollars i’d have orphanages and dorms for people to escape to like if they had abusive families or were homeless 🙂 and like free travel passes from anywhere to go to them
Tho i guess technically if someone wanted to escape already they could call the cops and the cops could direct them to a shelter or something
But i wanna make a nice place for people to go to

I would still keep it simple. I couldn’t justify buying a car that costs more than a house for example.

@saragoodtimes I'm sorry. Are you seriously advocating for one of the dirtiest fuels on the planet to continue to be used instead of solar or wind power? I think we're done here.

@saragoodtimes says
Electric cars have a FAR lower lifetime CO2 footprint and a FAR lower lifetime energy footprint. Since energy correlates closely to dollars, it means electric cars have a far lower total cost of ownership.
These graphs are for Vancouver CA in 2018, so energy costs are similar to the US; however energy is represented in megajoules - there are 3.6 MJ in a KWH, and 1 MJ = .37 horsepower hours. It assumes 150,000Km of travel over the life of the car, about 93,000 miles.
Lifecycle CO2 costs (these include extracting & transporting oil)

And yes, the US has the electric capacity. Now.

the energy needed to mine the components for the batteries creates more pollution than all the gasoline engines

If all US cars were EVs, they would need a total of 1,106.6TWh, which is 27.6% of what the American grid produced in 2020.

Wind, solar, and nuclear; surely you've heard of them??
