I do. How do you explain the fact that children knows things about deceased people's lives that they should know absolutely nothing about. One child kept referring to a stranger as his wife so they entertained him by showing him a photo and he named everyone in the picture. There are countless people who recall their past lives. How do you explain that.

@AngelUnforgiven countless? Or just one or two?
gregloa · 61-69, M
Of course not. I believe in you will be repaid for your actions. But I believe it’s from God. Some people call it karma.
Greyjedi · M
It makes sense. I can’t say for certainly I have, but it makes a lot of sense and thus I believe in it.

No.
ETA: I do believe however that our soul lives on and must give account in the judgement day.

No. I do believe a part of us never dies along with our physical body, but continues on in some form and awareness.
Oneofthestormboys · 56-60, M
Not in the sense of coming back as another person or animal, no.
We are made of stardust though, so it’s feasible that the atoms making our bodies could get redistributed somewhere else with time…

@Oneofthestormboys You put my thoughts into words!! I was trying to figure out how to say this but couldn't make it sound right so thank you!
ImperialAerosolKidFromEP · 51-55, M
@Oneofthestormboys that's probably what does happen and can be proven to happen. It's likely that we have at least one atom in our bodies for every person that ever lived until several millennia ago. But that's not reincarnation
Oneofthestormboys · 56-60, M
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP I think you’re right. It’s the only thing I could think of that makes scientific sense on the subject of reincarnation. There’s something called entropy, which means that things become less ordered over time, so in all likelihood we’ll be scattered everywhere…

I do

Maybe

Absolutely.
Who knows
ImperialAerosolKidFromEP · 51-55, M
No reason to. If I was more heavily influenced by the cyclicality of life, I might be tempted but the. I'd be conflating the natural with the supernatural

No - not at all - dead is dead.
I did during my last two lives, but not anymore.

No. It's a magic-based concept entirely lacking in reliable evidence and argument. The natural equivalent in reinvention theory corrects all of its mistakes and shortcomings.
ElwoodBlues · M
I'd like to, but there's zero evidence for it.
