It’s so quiet

Pitter pat pitter pat

Normally the rain makes me sleepy. It’s almost 2 AM and I’m listening to the rain blowing against the window - not a yawn in sight.

I Have Something To Say About Coronavirus / Covid19

All this social distancing is pushing some people together. My neighbor came over today to see how I was doing, and ended up cutting my grass. I haven’t had anyone over in weeks now so I was content to let it grow. He’s invited me over to grill... See More »

I Love Sitting By A Fire

Had a friend help me do some yard work over the weekend. We cleaned up limbs and twigs from all the many storms we have had lately, and made a big pile. Next weekend we are going to have a little bonfire to get rid of it all, and maybe have a bottle... See More »

I don’t like cold weather but I do like to see snow a couple times a year. When you live in the south, it can get crazy when it’s in the forecast like it is today. Knowing the grocery stores will be empty by this afternoon, I went early and got what... See More »

I Happy Veterans Day

Hugs to all the wonderful men and women who have served and sacrificed. Thank you

I Absolutely Love the Ocean

The wind is blowing and the waves are crashing against the sea wall. What a wonderful night at the coast.

I Want to Wish Everyone a Happy Fourth of July

It’s raining tonight so had to get an old one :(

I Need To Be Silly Sometimes

It's so quiet on here tonight, you could hear a cough drop.

I Love to Be Loved and to Give Love

He gave me a cushion to kneel on, them pushed me down on the table. "I love you" he said as he lifted my dress.

I Love HUMP DAY

OK boys and girls, lets get to it.

I Feel Free To Pm Me

... but if you lock down your profile where I can't see anything about you, I likely won't answer.

Clicked on groups here and was presented with a list of 50. Of he 50, this group has the least number of members... around 660... only one under 1000. Animal groups are way out in front of wives by at least 5 to 1. I wanted to be a wife... now I... See More »

I Love to Watch the Sunset

Bogue Inlet Pier - Emerald Isle, NC. Sun is gone now but a lovely breeze.

I Love the Beach

I'm staying at the beach all this month, which is great except I'm now alone - none of my friends are here. It's so strange to put on a bathing suit and go lay on beach by myself... I feel like everyone is looking at me and wondering what I did.

I Appreciate Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day everyone - especially the vets who have given so much. Big kiss to all.

I Love Being Taken Care Of

I was asked to dinner by a new gentleman last week. At the restaurant, he ordered wine, and my dinner with not a word from me... both were delicious. When he brought me home, he didn't ask if he could come in, he just did. When I told him I was... See More »

I Want to Wish Everyone a Merry Christmas

To my good friends, sorry I have been away so long. Hugs, kisses, and the merriest Christmas to everyone.

I Love the Beach

It's almost dark but I can't leave. Beautiful breeze, and lights from the boats floating on the water. Wish I could sit here all night long.

I Like the Sound of Rain

Sitting on my front porch during my lunch break. The rain is pouring down from the sky in a steady stream, and has been all day. I have heard neither car nor plane... not a single human voice - only the rain.

I A Lesson Learned

I used to party a lot at the beach, used to but not anymore. It was always a favorite place to dine and drink, then sit on the beach and talk till daylight. One night I met a really cool guy at this bar. We were hitting it off so well, that I decided... See More »

I Appreciate Memorial Day

Thanks to all the vets out there, some of which have paid a high price for their patriotism. I have the privilege to know a few such men, and it's quite humbling. Happy Memorial Day guys.. I'll toast you later :).

I Love The Weekend

There is a big hot air balloon fest near Raleigh this weekend. They are so pretty. Doesn't look like the link works :/ http://wral.com/15729896
