I'm not sure I really fit in with all of you tbh 😔

Just wanna say thanks to everybody.
Every time I write a post, I don't expect much but a lot of you always react, interact, & I'm always surprised by how many people actually talk to me on my posts.

None of you here have directly made me feel out of place. Its mostly a personal feeling.. like noticing that a lot of you have been friends with each other for years while I missed out on most of that. So I'm sometimes the stranger in interactions.
It's nothing that truly bothers me, this is kinda just me speaking on those observations. So thanks again 🙏

So many of the original SW member are now gone or dormant. People come and go and they either leave an impression or they just fade to the background. New bonds are made everyday and there is no right or wrong way to experience SW. You’re a veteran considering your history with EP and I think you’re gonna be just fine blending in and making connections. People here aren’t as cliquey as you might think. So welcome back and enjoy the show🤣

Also do you notice how many likes and comments you’ve gotten on this post within an hr ? 👀 wth are you talking about ? I literally thought it was like five comments until the scroll was endless and all your post seem to be like that. So stop lol

I left and lost many of my old friends so this account doesn’t feel the same. All you can do is try to connect more and find new friends. People don’t stay around forever so we just have to make new connections. From what I see you are popular on here. You have gotten tons of likes on your post so that tells you a lot. Don’t be hard on yourself. You’re not the only one that feels that way about this place.

I'm sorry you feel that way. It gets like that sometimes when you leave and come back and only a handful maybe remember you are even around. You're a pretty alright dude, just remember a lot of us feel like misfits but we really do recognize and remember each other a who lot more than we realize.

Mine was when I first got back here, but then I was like so what imma just be me if they like it that’s great and if they don’t who cares? I don’t even know these people irl 😂
But there are some really chill people on here, so just try and focus on the good and talk with them 😌

I’m sorry you feel that way tbh I felt that way a bit too when I first came back after my long break. I had to make new connections and build new bond with a lot of the community, because so many of them were new or either didn’t remember me. This site is definitely a out of site out of mind kind of thing for most people sadly. And that’s okay, it doesn’t mean you’re not capable of building and making new connections. I’ve enjoyed you on the site so far. I think your input is always open minded and intellectual and not to mention you have a decent sense of humor too. I think you fit in well, but I do think it takes a bit of time for the community to open up simply because of how weird this site can be and a lot of distrust but it’s not impossible. I’ve also noticed there’s just not much activity on here in general. I literally feel like I have to post nonsense constantly to get any kind of interaction at times. Lol.

I think you might have left SW at about the same time I got here, so I suspect we missed each other back then But I can say that I've enjoyed those interactions we have had since your return. And in addition to that, there are other posts and comments of your that I've enjoyed reading your thoughts, but just didn't jump in. I totally get how you feel, and I feel the same sometimes. That's mostly why I don't post much on my own these days, but rather respond to otbers'piats that catch my interest somehow.

I think many of us, including me, feel the same way. I don’t fit in here really but I’m ok with it. I think that it’s best not to have any expectations here. Just take it with a grain of salt and enjoy the laughs

I feel the same way now and then. I mean, yes, I've made some amazing connections here, and consider several friends. But, then I'll see many users post and all the back/forth interaction on the posts and feel so out of place. There has been a lot of change in the 5 years since you have been here. People have left, many new people have joined, and many of those have never heard of ep.

That coupled with the way the feed is structured....mine is set up to just my circle and i rarely venture out....makes it really hard to build new connections.
