Time heals all wounds. Or does it?

Scars are the remnants of healed wounds. They don’t go away, neither do their lessons.

Not always, you just think less about it as time goes on..

21 years since our oldest went to heaven, our hearts are broken, Mrs Kelly has gone down hill since but we will never forget him and now we have grandchildren it eases the pain

nope. not really. the pain lessens but the memories stay.

That has a lot to do with the person I think. How much we allow things to bother us or use our mind, but I would have to say that I don't think that time does actually heal all wounds. I think it makes things more tolerable, but we also have to work on ourselves and try not to let yesterday steal joy from today. We're not going that way. Hopefully, we are moving forward.

No, and actually if you don’t do anything about the wound time can make it get worse.

In my experience it does, but it leaves scars to ocassionaly remind us of the pain and agony.

Nope. I went through some abuse in my household as a kid that still hasn't really healed.

I'd like to say that it does, but I know better.
The realization that you are now different changes the perception of the healing and the wound...time doesn't fix that. You just learn to live in and accept your new reality.

Creates new wounds, with the stories of the old wounds appearing, but you hopefully have a chance to have learned how you healed when the new wounds come flooding in.

No.. I don't think it does. "Fester" comes to mind. But you certainly need time to have the chance to heal a wound. That phrase, is wrong.

No it doesn't heal them but it does teach us to be much smarter people, what to look out for, and what baggage to let go of that is holding us down

Respectfully it has worked for me in the past and is working for me now … after every pitfall in life I think time is all we really have to move forward with.
