It's not envy. Many many people have been thoroughly indoctrinated to hate Trump and everything and anything he does.
They are not serious people and can be safely ignored or mocked.
We are WELL past the hoaxes such as him being a Russian asset, telling people to inject bleach, saying he would be a dictator, etc etc etc.
The people you are referring to still believe those things. Now they are stuck in the past on an island and are very angry and frustrated that the world no longer sees Trump the way they were programmed to.
I don't know what he is going to do or say he is going to do. Below is a part of Wikipedia's version of Project 2025. The President has to have people willing to work for him. Would you hire a person who think you are an ass or someone who like working for you?
That's not what it's about, and you know it. It's about making sure all those civil servants they are replacing will continue to push the fascist agenda of the man who appoints them.
The DOJ reports to the President. William Barr was acting as his own man with a disdain for Trump.
Only because Trump tried to weaponize the DOJ.
Haven't you noticed that every former Trump staffer has the same thing to say about him? They literally all say he's an іԁіоt and a nаrсіssіst, without fail. What does that tell you?
@SumKindaMunster If you are referring to Elwood Blues,I to blocked him and don't regret doing it.He constantly distorts information or outright lies.Brsidrs that, hes personally obxious.
Not in the least. He has worked for what he has, and now, instead of sitting back and enjoying his life, he has been working tirelessly to make this country better for everyone. And he has done so in the face of vile insults and personal attacks on himself and his family, false accusations, court cases, threats, and actual attempts on his life. Who else would do that? He had money, fame and popularity. He is not gaining anything from his efforts, it's cost him a lot.
You couldn't pay me enough money to be Trump. Celebrating an event that resulted in the death of someone, as well as critical injuries to two other people, is crass. And vintage Trump, who cares only for himself.
@Richard65 “you literally can't think for yourself. Did a father die protecting his family? Yes. Did Trump issue trainers in response to the incident that resulted in a father dying protecting his family? Yes. What you're saying then, is that the father dying whilst protecting his family wasn't taken into consideration when Trump issued the trainers. Do you think that's a good thing?”
You are mischaracterizing again. Trump was at his rally in Pennsylvania, and he was shot by a gunman. The gunman was intending to shoot him. Corey was killed, and that is very unfortunate. It was, however, the attempted assassination of Donald Trump. And Donald Trump survived. Can you not see where this leads to? What do you think a natural response from Trump is?
He is happy that he survived, and wants to sell you his sneakers. That is the American way.
@windinhishair “If Trump was concerned, he would have called earlier, and not waited until he was getting adverse publicity to do so.”
“If you think Trump was truthful during Covid, you have severe cognitive issues.”
“So if someone like Trump is a criminal, and people love him, he is not guilty and a role model?”
Trump was also shot. Have you ever been shot? You don't know when he called this woman. We know that she was very grateful for his call and that she thinks he was very kind to her. What is there to criticize about this?
Trump was very truthful during covid. Other politicians lied to us and hurt us. Economic policy should not be determined by "the science.” Our freedoms should never be infringed by the likes of Fauci. Those in power locked our economies down, and this severely disrupted our supply chains. Since covid, the richest among us have become richer, and the poorest have become poorer. Inflation is so bad in US because of lockdowns, your approach to Russia and the war in Ukraine. What do you think the reason is for it?
People aren't talking about the dangers of covid anymore, but they are talking about inflation and how, when Trump was in power, they had more money. Covid was a hysteria that lasted for more than two years but has now waned. It was never going to last.
@AthrillatheHunt I don't care about parties or titles either, I care about results. If the parties switched positions again, I'd vote Republican. I have no loyalty to either party. It's the same with the billionaires. The reason they overwhelmingly fund Republicans is because they have the policies that help the rich.
Actually, the NYT analysis of his business returns showed that he had NEVER made money at ANY business which HE had run, except Trump Tower.
He lost money at every other business.
The other business in which he was involved which made money was another Manhattan venture in which he was only a SILENT partner (so THEY made the money).
Yeah.. and those same people are jealous of his steaks, his bottled water, his Vodka, his scam-University, his scam-charity foundation, his achievement of getting a journalist secretly released from Russian prison... but only if he is elected.
Trump is an angry old man with a life expectancy of 9 years, whose wife despises him and who never recovered from the childhood trauma of his dysfunctional family. Most of us have decades of love and adventure in front of us. No, I don't envy him.
BTW, the key to his success was inheriting about $400 million from his father. Thus his "success" is mostly an accident of birth.
@ElwoodBlues “Trump is an angry old man with a life expectancy of 9 years, whose wife despises him and who never recovered from the childhood trauma of his dysfunctional family. Most of us have decades of love and adventure in front of us. No, I don't envy him.”
Nine years? This seems very precise. Are you planning to assassinate him too? Why wait that long?
How do you know his wife despises him? She appears very glad he survived.
“Thus his "success" is mostly an accident of birth.”
And? It is still success in the eyes of many people. Is it his fault he was born into money?
No, I don't envy him. The democrats and the elites want him dead. He will be the next President of the United States and he's going to be very busy cleaning up the mess Biden made the last 4 years. So better him than me.
@emiliya called Muricans sometimes It is an imitation of the way some Texans say the word “Americans.” Some people use it as insult to make fun of the Americans they consider unenlightened. Its meant to describe red necks, bible thumpers and gun supporters. It’s like the definition of porn: you know it when you see it.
It plays on the worst stereotypes of a certain type of person, generally in the heartland, generally insulated from the larger world and generally, again, the ‘God, guns and country’ believers. It’s the worst habits, often visibly on display in Wal Mart, streamlined to their essence and exaggerated (though rooted in a kernel of truthiness).
Pretty sure the origin of this is rooted in the George W. Bush years as it was a take on his pronunciation of the word America[1] as Bush himself was not seen as the sharpest tool in the shed.
There are varying degrees of meanness in this term and some, perhaps ironically, take pride in it.
