How much water do you drink in a day

I been trying to drink water more, it's been a big struggle for me but I've been doing it

You may want to read this article =

"Women 19 to 30 years old should drink about 2.7 liters of water daily. Men of the same age need about 3.7 liters. Relying on your thirst levels may not work for everyone, especially athletes, older people, and pregnant women.

Final Thoughts

A large portion of the body is made of water, which is vital for cell function and life. Your body will alert you when it needs more water. When you drink too much, it can lead to fatal conditions. If you don't know how much water you should drink daily, stick to the popular advice of eight glasses a day."

I don't know, for the simple reason that it is not quantifiable.

All the popular discussion about water implies quantities of plain water, or least beverages like fruit squash, colas and milk, that are all mostly water.

It tends to ignore that we also take in quite a lot of water in beverages like tea and coffee (though those are a bit diuretic), milk on cereals and in "solid" foods.

A couple of liters. More as the weather heats up😷
AJDarkAngelFalling · 36-40, F
@whowasthatmaskedman lol! Yeah drinking cold water when it's cold outside, isn't a good thing
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@AJDarkAngelFalling I live in a civilized part of the world, where the water stays liquid all year round.. 😷
AJDarkAngelFalling · 36-40, F
@Sevendays that's what I try drinking everyday. It's a major struggle most days
Sevendays · M

Jeephikelove · 46-50, F

What color is your urine?

[b]What the colour of your urine says about your health, according to an expert

If your urine is the proper color = pale or transparent =it indicates that you are drinking the right amount of water.

Enough, but I could drink more. I had to drink so much water every day while I was going through chemo. The first thing I did when I was finished was stop drinking water

one thing that helps me is i fill up a gallon container with water and pop a few tea bags in with some lovely fruit tea and let it sit for a bit
sugarpie · 26-30, F
I'm aiming at least 2L a day. But lately I only frink around 1.5L. I received a big tumbler (with number) from mystery bags. Hopefully it can help me.

Several cups of coffee and then three to four 16 oz bottles of bottled water, cup of tea and milk here and there too.
I drink 6-8 10 ounce cups on average. Mix in a bottle of Vita Water or diet coke. And maybe a cup or 2 of Gatorade zero.
Allieles · 26-30, F
@OldGrandDad zero has lots of salt so it doesn’t actually hydrate you

Maybe a couple glasses' worth, definitely not always the recommended amount. Sometimes I just forget to.
bugeye · 26-30, F
try flavoured water or diluted juice. you get the water you need and it doesn't taste depressing.
Cigarguy101 · 41-45, M
I start the day with a mtdew
Then 8 bottles of water
Then end the night with whiskey
AJDarkAngelFalling · 36-40, F
The reason I ask this is because my goal is to drink at least a gallon a day
DerSilberneKonig1 · 22-25, M
Most likely a likely a little too much, it's good you're drinking more tho
Flenflyys · 31-35, F
A lot, at least two litres not counting food sources.
None .. at least not straight water.. tea sodas and coffee only
exexec · 61-69, C
Not much.
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@exexec Ah - but probably a lot more than you think!
exexec · 61-69, C
@ArishMell Probably. I just don't keep water with me wherever I go. I drink when I'm thirsty, which is what my doctor recommended.
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@exexec As I do, really! Though I don't often drink water on its own.
spjennifer · 56-60, T
About 2-3 litres a day, more if it's hot out.
Bleak · 36-40, F
Overdoing anything can never be beneficial.
coffee is like 99% water!..
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
No idea -- as much as I feel the need for.
Umile · 41-45, F

I don’t drink much water only if I’m having my medication
Hanginginthere · 31-35, M
About 2 bottles
I average two gallons every three days, I have two half gallon bottles I keep filled with brita filtered tap water, one by my chair in the living room, and one on my nightstand bottom shelf.
