It used to be good when I was a kid, but in like the past decade and a half, nearly all the fast food chains (at least near me), have dropped in quality dramatically. So now I have no idea why the lines in the drive thru are always wrapped around the building. It just makes no sense.
And seriously, its just chicken and pickles on a flat fast food bun. Its not that amazing.

I've never had it, because I won't give them a dime, but I have a feeling their "stances" on certain issues is part of the appeal for some. A "they're on OUR side" type of thing. This is from their regulations for franchise owners.
It's not required that all operators be Christian, but in addition to closing the restaurant on Sundays, you must be willing to participate in group prayers during training and management meetings and publicly espouse Christian values.

ChampagneOnIce · 51-55, F
@Ynotisay I refuse to eat there. Didn’t know that was in their manual.
Ynotisay · M
@ChampagneOnIce Yeah. I got curious. What's interesting is the "you must be willing" part. They're telling non-Christians they have to publicly lie. Can't wrap my head around that.

i love their sandwiches. my doctor said theywere the only decent fast food i could eat

The quality has been consistent since it began
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
Jeez, I was gonna ask who is obsessed with Chik-fil-a then I saw all the comments...😐
They are a cut above "regular" fast food, better quality ingredients, but more importantly they seem to hire people who actually want to work and appreciate who they work for...makes a big difference when you go there to order and they are friendly and accommodating instead of being sullen and annoyed.

@SmoothKnight I think they have their priorities straight. While the other restaurants focus on cutting corners and saving every penny they can Chick-Fil-A focuses on hiring a great team of caring people and the profits from sales will follow. They aren’t the lowest-priced fast food but it doesn’t stop customers from stopping there.
SmoothKnight · 56-60, M
@cherokeepatti
It's amazing. People want to be treated nice when they go to eat. There's lots of choices, so it's a big deal that Chick-fil-A is so successful.

LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
I didn't know they were. They aren't very popular where I'm from, because of their CEO's stance on lgbt+ rights.
pride49 · 31-35, M
@LordShadowfire Hmmmm.... I realize my face is under the word gullible in the dictionary but ..hmmm 😑
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@pride49 Dude. You've seen my other account. I'm the corvid guy. I'm obsessed with crows and ravens. I can find you articles all night. Trust me, you make friends with these guys, you'll have the entire flock as your buddies. I mean, they'll never totally trust you, but they'll recognize that you're one of the good ones.
HoeBag · 46-50, F
@MsSwan
Me and a co-worker were talking about this. Most fast food places are often dead, where in the HAIL do they find the money to even stay open? The profits made off sales would not even cover their worker's wages.
@pride49
PFFFT yeah, if someone is working at some $7 an hour grease dump, they are not going to base major life decisions on whether or not they get to keep their sh*tty fast food job.
There's one here and every time I drive past there's a huge line in the drive-thru. There's also a Burger king and Mcdonalds nearby but there's never any lines that long at them.

@pride49
oh yeah. I've heard employees have to sign an agreement never to get an abortion. Or they immediately get terminated. Foolish bible thumpers I say

ElwoodBlues · M
Dave's Hot Chicken is worlds better!!

Viper · M
@ElwoodBlues I've been hearing about them, but I've never seen one yet
ElwoodBlues · M
@Viper One opened up near me sometime during the pandemic, and I've just checked it out 3 lunches in 3 weeks. Their chicken is well marinated, flavorful, moist inside, not greasy outside. They offer seven levels of heat, and I like the middle one. Their fries, also not greasy, have a bit of spice too.
Viper · M
@ElwoodBlues sounds great 👍
FloorGenAdm · 51-55, M
Because I went there before and everybody wants to be like me!
Tres13 · 56-60, M
Eating healthy
SilkandLace2 · 46-50, M
@Tres13 semi healthy at least
LilPrincess · 46-50, F
I think their food is nasty and not worth 3 days in the drive thru
@LilPrincess Yeah, every time I drive by the Drive-thru is packed
Greyjedi · M
Because they are evil.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Greyjedi Oh please, they are a private organization and they can give money to whom they see fit. They didn't attack anyone, the culture got mad because they were donating to groups that promoted conversion therapy for homosexuals. Once the bad press came out they stopped, and its been years since that was the case.
Move on.
Move on.
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
No idea... we don't have it out here.
But I do remember, that it was the first commercial that actually grabbed my attention. And I loved their billboards.

We like the food, and the service is excellent at the places near us. Of course, we grew up near where it began, so we have been eating it for a long time.

Coz they hate gay people
BeefySenpie · M
It’s the only time they ever fill a chick
eli1601 · 70-79, M
Because the chicken is excellent
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@eli1601 I'm just fucking with you. Actually, the one time I tasted it, it wasn't that bad. I would just never personally pay for it.
eli1601 · 70-79, M
@LordShadowfire I would go there even if their politics were left wing.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@pride49 I just cannot bring myself to financially support a company that oppresses women and homosexuals.

'cause they marinade their chicken in:
Pickle juice
Salt
Sugar 😕
MSG 😱
Pepper
Natural flavors 🧐

With mustard and mayo
Muthafukajones · 46-50, M
Cuz it’s yummayyy
Ducky · 31-35, F
But it's good chicken on a bun with a couple pickles! 😃
Jk, I've never even ate there. But I think it has to do with its accessibility and (purported) quality control.

They make some chicken noodle soup that is to die for.
HoeBag · 46-50, F
I never ate there. If I am going to go for fast food, I do not want no god damn chicken, I want a cheeseburger.
Viper · M
Quality food makes long lines...
My dad has a story of this food cart place, they only sold one item, but it ALWAYS had a freaking long line as it was darn good quality food.
Not saying they're best is that much better than other fast food best... but they don't have worst like the other places...
Like some other places around here, you're gambling.
I got a item from taco bell and first bite, still frozen on the inside.
This one Wendy's has horrible staffing and I don't think they could they could make a single proper meal... and most others Wendy's I enjoy.

good question

Very tasty.
Spoiledbrat · F
Their honey mustard is bomb.
bijouxbroussard · F
They don’t have one near me. I think the closest one is in Daly City (on the Peninsula). When their CEO said marriage equality was against their religion, our mayor at the time (Ed Lee) told them they weren’t welcome here.
4meAndyou · F
Their original sauce is pretty good, and the first time I tasted it, I was amazed that a piece of fried chicken breast could be so tender and juicy.
Lucyy · 22-25, F
Idk. You can taste the homophobia lmao

Why do people like fast food at all? Convenience, I guess. Gross.

people are too dumb to preheat the oven and put a chicken inside.
