I Marvel At The Mysterious Nature Of Life

PINNED

Tonight I was outside quite late and happened to glance up into the sky. It was so dark, scattered with tiny little sparkling specks and stars, and one VERY bright one popped right out. I assume it was the North Star, as it was large, extremely... See More »

Have you ever been sedated for a dental procedure with nitrous oxide?

Or also known as laughing gas... How did you feel?

Any diabetic here have neuropathy?

If so, what do you do to help or alleviate the numbness? My sister is suffering so much daily. She has horrible pain too but she said the numbness is just atrocious. It's heartbreaking seeing her like this. Her doctor offers only Gabapentin which... See More »

Have you ever had a dental procedure with sedation?

I need either sedation or possibly anesthesia for an upcoming root canal. I have pain issues in my jaw and occasionally vertigo so they said I should go to a facility that offers sedation or anesthesia. If you've had sedation, what was it like? Could... See More »

Sedation or anesthesia?

I have to get my first root canal soon. Problem is, I get TMJ jaw pain often (night clenching) and it could affect me having to have several breaks during the procedure. I also have a misaligned jaw which can cause vertigo occasionally. I described... See More »

1. You had chronic PTSD that hindered you doing several social activities? 2. You don't have too much dating experience at 44? 3. You don't feel worthy of someone's time, due to your chronic issue? (Yes I've worked on these issues for years now,... See More »

Car experts...could this have any connection?

My car recently stalled out at a red light, and then turning slow into my driveway. Many here think it could be alternator, fuel injector or fuel pump. I went to check my oil today, as I know it would probably need nearly a quart. I was very... See More »

Say something kind to yourself now

I appreciate your giving heart and thinking of others' often.

Have you heard of re parenting ?

I've read about it many times... Where you say kind things to yourself daily, show compassion to yourself when you've made a mistake, and comfort yourself gently when facing an issue or tough time. Things a good parent would emotionally provide a... See More »

What would you do?

So my car completely stalled out at a red light yesterday. It's never done that. Then as I restarted it, it was ok .but lagged a little as I was nearing my house. Then as I turned slowly into my driveway, it stalled out completely again. Thank you... See More »

Got car knowledge?..(car stalled out)

On my way home tonight I was at a red light and all of a sudden it felt like my car was not on. And I realized it wasn't. I looked at the dash and the battery, oil and one other light was on. I shit the car, turned it back on and it drove fine the... See More »

What are some conscious or subconscious thoughts /beliefs about yourself...

That enable you to date? I don't mean the concept "I'll just see where it goes ." Or "It's just a date" but how do you view YOURSELF, that helps you say Yes to a date, rather than fearing you're not enough? 💗🩷

If you took 600 mg ibuprofen over an hour ago and it's still not working...

(but typically does).. could you take a fourth pill to equal 800 mg, and it would work? I know taken four at once would help sharp pain, but if you took a fourth pill over an hour after, would it help?

Have you ever needed to take Tylenol or Advil daily for weeks?

This nearing a month I've had to take Tylenol or Advil for tooth pain😞 I've seen two dentists and X-rays and there's no cracks. It's sore daily from one night I must've clenched harder than usual. I've had TMJ and been a night clencher for twenty... See More »
