A server/dishwasher in a college dining hall. It wasn't a great job, but definitely not the worst I've had. We did get free meals before work so that was one good thing I can remember about it.

my first job was in a fast food restaurant, it was a horrible job. rushing all the time, never a positive reinforcement. in a way it was a good thing because it turned me off from working for others at an early age. for most of my life I was my own boss, investment, tradding, owning a restaurant of my own for a while, consultant in various fields. my last project failled and I lost almost everything so now, after 30 years of working for myself, I have a job with a boss, until I think of something else 😂

Working at an elementary school part-time in the principal’s office doing general office work and also sent on errands and helped a first-grade teacher for an hour each day. That teacher had been my first-grade teacher for the second semester when we moved here the first time. She was very beloved when I was in her class and just as beloved that year by her students as well. She gave hugs for positive reinforcement and we loved it. This job was part of a cooperative office training class I took when I was a senior in high school

I worked with my mom and brother at the UPS store not to be confused with the actual UPS delivery service. We only packaged Items and made the delivery slips.

Landscaping. I turned a 5 acre garbage dump into a pristine, green field. $1 an hour and a cheeseburger & Coke for lunch.

Mine was on the dock unloading fishing trawlers. When I was 14 in 97. It was part time. The boats would come in every two weeks, and it took 6 hours to unload just one. If three came in, that was a long day.

I was like 10 and delivering the local paper every Wednesday. After being bitten by two dogs (separate occasions) I decided to retire. Hazards of the job I suppose

When I was 14 I started working at a Burger King

I had two first jobs McDonalds and chicken treat in the city it was 30 minutes by train I had to choose between them I chose McDonald

I worked on a play scheme for kids. I'm not really a kiddie person but it was surprisingly good fun.

I was 16 worked at Subway for 2 years and then worked at ATT during summer home from college and made a career out of it

Sugar beet singling. Then potato picking, abd strawberry picking. Working in a grain dryer whilst a Uni.

Coffee shop, which was bad got me addicted to that stuff.

Bussing tables at a fisherman's bar on the canal from 12-17.

Worked at Roy Rogers roast beef, counter person.

I was a paper boy for a weekly newspaper in 5th grade.

Babysitting my 18 months younger sister since I was about 6 y/o. Payment was a lolipop and actual compliments.

For money: More babysitting when I turned 9. Usually moms friends' kids while mom and her friend(s) went out drinking.

I had a paper route when I was 11. That winter I came down with an ear infection and tonsillitis that left me permanently deaf in my left ear. Quite a price to pay for about $5 a week.

I worked in cine industry as a junior organiser for backstage dancers/hiring side actors like stuffs.Left the job once I got married because of certain things which I didn't like in the movie industry.

I was spending summer on a military base in Cyprus with my parents. Our neighbour, a military policeman, paid me to walk his alsatian in the morning and the evening. I was 13 years old.

Unless you count cutting apricots and picking cotton, it was writing a high school sports column for the weekly newspaper at age 14.

Honestly? I started as a prostitute when I was 13.

No paper-round or anything like that.

Mine was working at a key and engraver shop started there when I was 14 working on the weekends

Aside from little jobs in the years before, it was working in a hospital. It was the summer of 1972, I think.

Other than babysitting which I started to do when I was 11, I had a job at a video store back in VHS days.

I played the piano for ballet classes at a dance school and later was organist for a local Baptist church in the year before going off to college.

I grew up on my Grandparents Bee Keeping farm, I don't remember when I started working for them, I started out as a child as the honey tester, then as I got older I worked out in the fields, and in the extracting lab. It was actually really fun, good employees honey fights, and Grandma made us a feast each meal!

I was a full service gas station attendant.

i was working in an industry as the owners personal Assistant when i was studying in college .
.One evening after work ,the owners wife called me to her home for late evening work...

First thing I was paid got - playing guitar in a school production of Joseph and his technicolour dreamcoat at a local junior school. I git musician union rate.
First full time job - trainee software engineer working on head up display units for F16 and A10

I worked in a corner deli in 1976 as my first job.
This was a tide me over job whilst awaiting to start an apprenticeship at the local copper mine.
One of my duties was to polish the fruit and vegetables for display in the window.

I worked at McDonald’s for a while, and when I left to go to college I was offered a managerial position (which I turned down because I was going to somewhere that I couldn’t commute from).

Grew up on a farm so putting up hay, milking cows, fencing, herding, shoveling grain, plowing, raking, chickens, pigs, ducks, machine maintenance, gardening....
