Does Trump sound like a thief at this point?

He wants to take money from military funds and might divert money from disaster aids meant for California and Puerto Rico (which are still recovering from their disasters) just to try and get this wall he wants built.
Platinum · M
The wall is for the safety of Americans , I saw him at a meeting with relatives of family murdered by illegal immigrants and until it happens to your family , you will go on putting him down for doing something good for the country....
Platinum · M
@SW-User I'm not on the left or right...I'm English and vote for the person not any special party...I just think that letting in too many immigrants is not good for the safety to any country....you might want to allow 1000s into America , but I don't think it's a good thing...
SW-User
@Platinum Indeed, some Republicans here in the states do stay silent when Trump does something that's not good.
And yet, even with the border wall, that will not stop illegal immigration. It's not that I want it or support illegal immigration, but saying that a border wall is going to stop illegal immigrants from coming in is an ignorant way of thinking.

And the sanctuary city BS is a disgrace.
The Progressive left are collectively pro-globalist in the essence of their ideology.
Just because they do not EXPLICITLY state they support open borders does not mean they are AGAINST open borders.
They themselves KNOW this better than anyone.
They also know that if they explicitly stated they were in support of open borders, they would lose political support in the USA..for NOW.

It's the same game Progressives played years ago...the same Progressive "leaders" like Obama, Clinton, Pelosi, Schumer, Reid, Ryan etc...EACH of those named EXPLICITLY stated that ILLEGAL immigration could not be tolerated and that a border wall was necessary...
Now, not only do they OPPOSE discouraging illegal immigration, they openly support and encourage sanctuary cities, FREE healthcare for illegals, etc.

Bottom line Platinum, I agree totally with you..It's not a left or right issue...It s a wrong or right issue as to whether American citizens get the respect they deserve from a government that is supposed to PUT THEM FIRST.
58 national emergencies have been called by presidents since 1979. 13 of those emergencies were called upon by Barack Obama during his 8 year term for things like swine flu, the Flint, Michigan water crisis, Iran, etc. So Presidents calling for national emergencies IS NOTHING NEW for those of you hooked on lamestream media (who fail to fill you in all the facts). This is not a constitutional crisis. To reiterate, Obama did it 13 times and where was the crisis then? It’s only a crisis now because (yet again) its something Trump is doing
Platinum · M
I don't want to know you, and you don't think, that's your trouble...don't threaten me little boy....I've had dinner...and I don't eat wimps....@Pherick
Pherick · 41-45, M
@Platinum Threaten you? Dear lord, "beating up on someone" like beating them up verbally? You really are dense.

Since you obviously have no interest in real discussion and are just throwing insults now, I will bid you and your pathetic attempts at wordplay, adieu.
Platinum · M
@Pherick that will be so nice...boy....bye
windinhishair · 61-69, M
What he is doing is unconstitutional. His naked power grab will not survive a court challenge. But he already knows that. He just wants to show his Adoring Loyalists that he will do anything, legal or not, to get his way.

In your mind what is wrong with building the wall?
SW-User
@SW-User
Sorry, don't believe you. As you have no source to back up that claim.
Sorry, but you don't have to believe me for it to be true, regardless of whether or not I post a source.

My source for this anti-Trump mockery is my experiential knowledge, as the "news" has lost its way to an exponential degree over the last two years plus.

Good enough for me.

Not good enough for you?..Great!👍️

@SW-User
Run along then, you have not proved to me anything factual.
SW-User
@SW-User
Run along then, you have not proved to me anything factual.
The only thing I could post that is "factual" to you is something you align with or agree with relative to your pre-established position on the issue at hand...lol

Understood.

Never intended to sway your own established views in the first place.

I'm only posting statements that I..ME..myself, know to be true as I have participated on your anti-Trump post.

With enough motivation, interest, observation, and in-person discussions with many different folks over an extended period of time, you can prove my comments to yourself.
Over the long haul, it works out much better than internet opinion piece C&P methods, at least it has for me over the last 50 years.

I'm running, and glad to do it..take care.
Coralmist · 41-45, F
Let me think about that: ... YES :/ He is on an ego trip at this point about a 'wall' and to declare an Emergency ????? I just can't believe it
Platinum · M
Who knows, you might be right and you might be wrong...but he is president and a bit like marmite, you like him or you don't @OggggO
OggggO · 36-40, M
@Platinum That’s cool and all, but your arguments are still bullshit and you have yet to address that.
Platinum · M
If you think so, I know you talk utter rubbish but I'm not worried what you think...you just want to argue and I don't ...so have a good day...if that's possible@OggggO
Pfuzylogic · M
He is a political idiot.
He better buy a correctional facility now so he can control where he lives.
He is a thief and has a fucking death wish.
But if he wants the damn wall, we'll build a wall, and chain his sorry ass to it.
Only, said wall will be the wall of the newly built exile dungeon on the lowest floor, far from continental American soil.
AlmostAnAngel · 100+, F
He is an abomination to this country. A sub intelligent. He has no empathy, or morals. And if he shows any at all, it is scripted for his own advantage.
Coralmist · 41-45, F
@AlmostAnAngel This. (unfortunately ) :/
OggggO · 36-40, M
He sounded like a thief years before he was elected. Now he sounds like a dictator.
Harriet03 · 41-45, F
[image deleted]Personal gain, has always been no 1, for him & the family!
Seize power and take control, create fear, chaos and division in the political system, identify a group for causing ALL the problems, declare a National Emergency, eliminate the form of Government, control the economy and redirect the money, call in the Military to enforce control. 🤔 I think that I have read this happening before in history.
Indy74 · 46-50, F
Yes he does! State of emergency my butt!
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
Might as well tell him that t
he Wall is finished. Why would he need to make a new one? He's accomplished his main objective. Time to move on.
Longpatrol · 31-35, M
Wasn’t he also fucking around with the VA a few months back?

It's a juggling game.
Place the money where it is needed.
OggggO · 36-40, M
@easterniowegin One could also argue that dumping boiling water on a man is an attempt to save him from hypothermia. That doesn’t make it so.
Platinum · M
@OggggO one can argue if you shoot someone it cures their hiccups ....lol
SW-User
@Nimbus He's not suppose to that is dictatatorship
JoeyFoxx · 51-55, M
Theif? No more than any other politician.

He is manipulative. But while much of what he is doing lacks polish, has borderline ethics and is counterproductive, he is only doing things that laws allow him to do.

The one thing that all of this exposes: Washington politics is inherently corrupt. This is why a rogue President cannot be effectively reigned in.
SW-User
@JoeyFoxx Hopefully people learn from this and fix it so something like this won’t happen again.
MarineBob · 56-60, M
military does need the drug eradication funds, screw Puerto rico and califonia
OggggO · 36-40, M
@MarineBob Screw you. You are disgrace to your oath.
MarineBob · 56-60, M
well if doj and dhs cant do the drug interdictions maybe both should be disbanded and let the military take care of it
@MarineBob Fuck your bullshit war on drugs (war on people).

Ever since Trump took office this guy has had to work harder to get noticed:

Unfortunately there isn't much he can do that Trump hasn't already done.
Magenta · F
All this hate...but, we could get someone even worse in office, next.

Everyone becomes an expert sitting in the comfort of their living room.
Magenta · F
@SW-User There have been 58 national emergencies called by Presidents since 1979.
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
@Amyrakunejo at least not one like Trump. From now on only someone of astronaut quality or better need apply.
OggggO · 36-40, M
@Magenta And? No one has said presidents don’t have the authority to call a national emergency for actual emergencies. The problem is Trump is making up an emergency to circumvent Congress.
Platinum · M
@Pherick and you have a serious case of don't knowshit sonny boy
