First: wash face. Rinse. Wash ears. Rinse. Takes a while for the ears.
Second...wash hair. Rinse. Takes a long time.
Third...apply cream rinse to hair and let set.
Fourth...soap up everywhere. Between each toe...pits and tits and ass. LOTS of soapy soap.
Fifth...turn up water to super hot. Rinse cream rinse out of hair. This is lengthy.
Sixth, rinse cream rinse off of body because it is slimy and if left ON me, gives me zits.
Seventh...rinse entire body with very hot water.
Eighth...wring out hair, exit shower!
15 to 20 minutes.

Those who finish their shower in 5 or 10 minutes, do they are clean enough?
I need st least 30 minuts that if I'm in hurry.

ArishMell · 70-79, M
@crazyhorsex Usually, yes.
If you wash properly in a reasonably good shower you are clean within five minutes - maybe ten after an underground shift in a coal-mine. The rest is just luxuriating - at your expense if you are the bill-payer. Half an hour is just wasteful.
I sometimes use a communal changing-room whose showers are on coin-operated timers: 50p for 5 minutes, £1 for 10, I think.
Given that the users often go in very muddy and sweaty, I have never heard complaints of not long enough, even from people with a lot of long hair. Most seem happy with the five minutes, and I sometimes finish and emerge perfectly clean in about 4 minutes (I can hear the timer switch off while I am drying and dressing.)

Wasting water and the gas or electricity used to heat it.
A normal shower takes under five minutes for cleanliness, including washing hair. The rest is just self-indulgence!
