I think it was Paths Of Glory. That was maybe 16 years ago. The end was so sad but still a great movie despite what Parks And Recreation said about it!!

@OlderSometimesWiser

Solid movie (now for the part you'll not like so much) but I was conscious of the fact Meryl Streep was acting. All. The. Time.
@SW-User Lol…. I wasn’t really conscious of it most of the time. Thought she dissolved into the role fairly well. But I’m a huge Meryl fan. Thought she was brilliant in Sophie’s Choice and Out of Africa.

Though strangely enough, I was always sorry they didn’t cast Jessica Lange and Sam Shepard in Bridges. Thought it was a more natural pairing, both great actors and a real life couple with great chemistry.

@OlderSometimesWiser

You're very gracious. Thanks for that.

I like your preferred acting choices for sure. At least Jessica Lange would've brought some sexuality to the role LOL. Sam Shepard would've been 100% believable in the movie, too.

I don't remember, really. Maybe Avengers Endgame? That might be it. I cry more from watching sad anime or playing video games and see heartbreaking and messed up scenes in them.
There are several.
I recently re-watched "The Elephant Man." That one does it for me.
There's also, "Live As A House." I think you might like that one.

What's eating Gilbert Grape. I didn't like watching that mentally challenged boy discover his deceased mother.

Oh I watched that new Anne Hathaway one on Prime. It was mostly fluff, but they did their crying so well it got me crying too. 😂

I have to go with two films:

My Life Without Me (2003)

And

Burning Man (2011)
Probably "I love you man". Was also the company I kept at the time made me laugh a lot

That's a fantastic movie(LIB). Not a movie, but some scenes from The Wire on HBO are very hard to watch. We're currently watching it.
Arantxa · 18-21, F
@uncalled4 I’ll look itnup
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
@Arantxa It's a gritty street drama. Love it. Best part? There is no music score. What happens in the show happens, just like life, no big strings or horn section to telegraph a move---people just ACT. And it works. One of the best shows ever.
