Crying non stop uncontrollably

I've been crying for the past 15 minutes straight. I just cannot stop sobbing. I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm not a big crier. I haven't actually cried in years. I have been stressing a lot lately but even when I'm stressed I don't cry. Why am I uncontrollably crying right now? 😢

I’m sorry you’re feeling sad. I’m not sure why you’re crying, but maybe you needed to. I cry every day, often I don’t know why

@itsok It's okay. :) I don't even feel sad though. Maybe it's repressed feelings of sadness and trauma maybe?
itsok · 31-35, F
@PinkRangerCassie ohhh, that happens to me too. I thought you were because of the group this was posted it
PinkRangerCassie · 26-30, F
@itsok Sorry :( I don’t mean to post on the wrong group but there wasn’t a specific section for that. The closest thing was this group since crying is viewed as a sad thing. I mean I probably am I just don’t directly feel sad, that’s all. It’s just the crying feels all of a sudden

IDK, sometimes I get random cries when I'm stressed. There there pumpkin.

Probably just stress relief.
I've done the same recently.

Hormones, stress, who knows? Just go with it, release and let it go. Once you are done, you should start feeling better pretty quick. At least, that's how it works for me🤷‍♀️😁

Hugs. 🫂 Could be pent up emotions. It's natural. Don't resist it. Cry it out. Our bodies know what they need.

Any number of possibilities. Sometimes it can take years for big things to bubble up or for an assemblage ofsmall ones to gang up. Frankly, a good (trial and error) canlhelp incover things. There ia also Internal Family System (IFS) therapy. Google it...
PinkRangerCassie · 26-30, F
@Neoerectus I've been there and done that, it has never helped.

@PinkRangerCassie Have you ever seen a trauma specialist? I am suspecting that might be involved.

Many counsellors are adequate, but not as helpful. Need to find one that works for you. I find that really good medical folks (psychologist/psychiayrists), MDs, and even vets are hard to find.

You do what you need to do! There is nothing wrong or weird about getting emotional for reasons you don't know. If it's a very common occurrence, then it could be some type of psychological problem but you said it rarely happens, so just accept it for what it is, a woman that just needed to release!

Nothing wrong with you. Cry your eyes out and do it again tomorrow. Cryings great. Means you care enough about something to be hurt by it. And that's beautiful I think.

The alternative of not crying is pretty bad anyway. Being either too pent up with other things to cry or not caring enough are both bad endings.

Something inside you needs to be released

If you need a hug or someone to listen while you vent, you can always message me. My friends have claimed I'm good at listening and trying to cheer people up.

Regardless, however, feel better soon.
Everyone has a breaking point, and this is yours. Too many things at once, plus emotional stress combined will start the water works on the strongest of us mere mortals.
Maybe your emotions are running amok during the most stressful times. Tears can fall without much provocation, you just have to let it happen

Sounds like your hormones are just off a bit in your cycle. Maybe eating some comfort food like french fries or pasta will help to raise your seratonin levels.

When your body has taken on board so much stress it needs to release some, crying is the body’s way of coping and making room.
Justgirl · 36-40, F
A Release of all that stress. It has to go somewhere after a while. It can't stay in your body

"i haven't actually cried in years."
yup, that'll do it.

…probably a release of bottled up stress🤔🤔🤔
