How old were you when you first smoked weed?

The first time I smoked I was maybe 12 and didn’t get high at all. Two of my friends and I smoked a bowl and just wandered around our neighborhood. They had smoked before and got high this time. I didn’t do it again until about six months later, and loved it ever since.

I was about 15....high school....grade 9 or 10?...my friends and I would go out into the parking lot of the school, and climb into the back of our teacher's truck (he had a topper on his truck bed) and smoke up in there. I don't think he ever knew.....or maybe he did, but never knew WHO was doing it....?

@ImpeccablyImperfect aw... my brother saw them in calgary when he was living out there. he saw them playing their farewell tour....it was so sad. i have never seen them. i've seen tons of concerts in my lifetime though. i saw metallica in 1986. and now they are doing a tour but won't be playing in vancouver which is fucking bullshit. but they are playing edmonton in summer i think and my brother wants to go. but they are playing commonwealth. have you any idea how hard it is to see a stadium tour when i've seen them play when they were 20 feet from me in 86?...idk...might have to pass that one up. but he really wants to see them

@beermeplease ohhh, I love the stadium! My daughter and I saw Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett at Commonwealth in 2022....it was terrific. We had a blast...if it's in the summer, you should totally go.

@AccursedAlexander3 yeah but making your own pipe out of stuff kinda keeps the nastalgia with it lol. When I was 19 I made a 4 person huka out of 2 big ass flower pots, water hose, duct tape and a big brass valve and I named it "Fuckshow" 😂😂

@slorollin my friends and I made one out of pvc pipe and a big ten gallon water jug. Some sheet metal and like a bolt for the bowl pipe. 4 hoses on ours too. Ended up naming it Billy bong Thornton.

I had a drag or two in a car with my friends in a shopping mall parking lot when I was about 15. Might have taken a drag a year later at a party. That’s about the extent of my experience

. 1973 when I was 14 and they had made a community joint out of the Cheech and Chong paper in the album. There were at least 8 people smoking.

Me and a friend named Doug slept in an empty carnival tent at the fair, and early the next morning somehow a girl from school knew we were there and found us and had weed and a weed pipe. So we passed it around atleast a few times and I atleast got very high that first time. My mind had never experienced it so was was memorable. We were 13 or 14

I never smoked it and besides, smoking is bad for you, There's been studies.

Bad for the heart and lungs and what's more, it's habit forming and it smells awful.

Besides, I want my lungs to be pink when I'm laying on a coroner's slab.

@beermeplease Let me explain something to you.

When I turned 13, I vowed I would never smoke, never drink alcohol and never use narcotics, INCLUDING marijuana.

Then, due to a few personal problems, when I turned 17 I started drinking alcohol as a way of coping.

I was an on again/off again alcoholic for 15 years.

I had forsworn myself in my vow to never drink.

And even though at the time, I had forsworn myself in my vow never to drink, I still stuck to my vow never to smoke or use narcotics. (I guess two out of three ain't bad.

And now after 5 years of soberiety I have a renewed vow to continue to be sober and abstainent for the rest of my life.

In the long run, my heart, lungs, brain, liver and all my other assorted good and plenty will thank me for it in the end.

I was about that age, too. I stopped smoked anything about 35 years ago (bad for the lungs) and I only occasionally consume an edible for sleep—they’re legal where I live.
