Puberty, sports when I was younger, and working out
dancingtongue · 80-89, M
Good question. I dropped about 40 pounds. At first I thought it was because I cut way back on the alcohol, then essentially eliminated it all together. And the snacking that went with it. Then I discovered that I had prostate and colon cancer, and the doctors urged me to put more weight back on. Cancers now appear in check with hormone therapy and I've put about 10 pounds back on, and holding there. Which feels good; about right.

I workout every single day. Three years ago I dropped 40 lbs. Once you drop the excess weight, it’s much easier to reshape your body.
If you want to drop weight, cut back on carbs and sugar dramatically. Focus on protein and vegetables. Fruit has sugar, so limit it initially.

I got a severe electric shock while I was touching two guitars at the same time. The two electric guitars were plugged into amplifiers plugged into separate circuits. Apparently one of the plugs had reversed polarity and it resulted in me being electrified and paralyzed for about 10 seconds before someone knocked one of the guitars out of my hand. I was unable to move one of my arms for several weeks and could not put my arms over my head for a couple of years. My shoulder muscles always hurt and I have lost a lot of strength. This happened four years ago. I hope the pain stops at some point before I die.

An accident I had. I broke several bones. They all healed but I still have problems with my back sometimes.

@JackOatMon I don’t seem to have that problem.

@Dagmar That is good. Hope you dont.

I notice changes in skin tone, but nothing drastic. I am in my mid 60s and in great shape for my age, but didn’t happen without effort. I weight train, eat no junk, and practice gods health habits.

I once went 43 days without eating anything. It shrank my stomach and damaged my metabolism to the point I find it difficult to eat even just once a day. I no longer feel hunger.

What iamisa said: Puberty. And a strong urge to preserve what I perceived attracted boys.

Aging; after turning 53 that when it seemed like my body started falling apart. Joints hurting, hair thinning and falling out and not getting full nights sleep
Wiseacre · F
u could work on that with weights and balance training.@HumanEarth
