@Nunki According to the studies, among married people, men cheat more.
Appears to be age dependent though;

According to the Institute for Family Studies, “men are more likely than women to cheat: 20% of men and 13% of women reported that they've had sex with someone other than their spouse while married, according to data from the recent General Social Survey.”
Appears to be age dependent though;
Data from married adults ages 18 to 29 says that women are slightly more guilty of infidelity. In adults 30 years and older, though – men are always more likely to cheat.

I don't know if that's true though, personally I'm a victim of it, but I still think it's rarer than men cheating on women just based of anecdotal record

There are more women to men in ratio. Often men leave women feeling their emotional needs not being met. Men love trying to seduce women, especially married ones or in a committed relationship. Ask a woman as a bartender, if they wear a wedding ring, or engagement ring, how often they get hit upon compared to when they don't. This was years ago, but I knew one who took hers off so she wouldn't have to deal with those men.
I think the question is more what makes cheating more socially acceptable now?

This is very subjective and the data varies depending who you ask. I've never cheated but I'm just one guy. My first ex cheated on me (and married the bloke and they're still married now). My second ex tried a 'rebound' relationship that didn't work out. I've tried one too and yeah it didn't work out, but there's never been any intention in my mind when I was in a relationship to link with anyone else. I've never been married (or proposed to anyone).

ANY cheating is wrong

Women have ALWAYS been better at getting away with it.
Social media has been a driving factor in the overall decay in western societies.

Honestly there's not more it's just more out in the open nowadays like a lot of things that have always existed behind closed doors the only difference is now inhibitions are gone

onlyfans plus men going their own way plus many men (esp married men) are willing to fuck any woman that offers them sex regardless of the circumstances?
smiler2012 · 56-60

The real question is why some people are so quick to forgive a cheating partner. I’ll never understand..
zonavar68 · 56-60, M
@Moneyonmymind My first ex cheated on me - that was the end. Messy court process later it was all over. That was 13 yrs ago. I've never cheated, and won't accept anyone cheating on me. That's a key part of why I don't do NSA/ONS sex and a partial reason why I don't feel comfortable trying to have a relationship since I just worry that she'll cheat on me because I'll never be good enough.
Moneyonmymind · 31-35, M
@zonavar68 I’d never forgive someone cheating on me too many fish in the sea 🤷🏾♂️
zonavar68 · 56-60, M
@Moneyonmymind And if you can't trust your committed partner to not cheat, or your committed partner can't trust you not the cheat, the relationship is not working. Cheating should be out of the question if a relationship is solid, whether it be mm, mf, or ff.
