Why are more females than males cheating today

Is it because they have much more oppertunity to do it than in the past and men hitting on women much more than the other way around.

There are more women to men in ratio. Often men leave women feeling their emotional needs not being met. Men love trying to seduce women, especially married ones or in a committed relationship. Ask a woman as a bartender, if they wear a wedding ring, or engagement ring, how often they get hit upon compared to when they don't. This was years ago, but I knew one who took hers off so she wouldn't have to deal with those men.

I think the question is more what makes cheating more socially acceptable now?
