Why are more females than males cheating today
Is it because they have much more oppertunity to do it than in the past and men hitting on women much more than the other way around.

@Nunki According to the studies, among married people, men cheat more.

According to the Institute for Family Studies, “men are more likely than women to cheat: 20% of men and 13% of women reported that they've had sex with someone other than their spouse while married, according to data from the recent General Social Survey.”
Appears to be age dependent though;
Data from married adults ages 18 to 29 says that women are slightly more guilty of infidelity. In adults 30 years and older, though – men are always more likely to cheat.
