I had a Starsucks once. Never went back for another. Too many local shops with much better coffee and unique characters of their own.
I typically disdain all the generic chain businesses, especially when traveling. Never really got the people that go to another country to see the sights but eat the same big Mac or pizza from a shop that looks just like the one near the house, the different food and products is a big part of the adventure.

I'm not sure where you got the impression that I did not follow through with the police. It is discussed at length in the comments on that story and I did tell several people there that I did proceed.

Where I got the impression that you did not follow through with the police is because as I've already made reference to in my previous posted comment, you specifically stated in the last paragraph of that linked story that you didn't know if you should press charges or not because you didn't want to get involved with any of it.

I went down and completed a full statement and pressed charges. The prosecutor called me a little over two months after to let me know that the guy signed a plea deal for a lesser charge and I wouldn't need to testify.

Nowhere in that original, posted story is this quote of your's above even mentioned, nor did you state anywhere in that story that you went to the police and filed paperwork and pressed charges. In fact, you wrote in that story's last paragraph that you did the opposite... you did nothing because you weren't sure if you want to get involved. In the last paragraph you had mention 10 days had passed when finally the police contacted you but you weren't sure what to do.

@swirlie You are right about the original posted story. In the comments, however, the issue of pressing charges was thoroughly discussed from several difference perspectives and I agreed to work with the prosecutor (which I did). Sorry for the confusion. :)

I'm heavily addicted to porn and often leave extremely filthy comments under videos on them and it occasionally gets my accounts restricted because of how risque the wording is. I've also been banned from a few sites for making confessions that they found too risque for their TOS. (Don't ask what kinds of porn thx)

Good question. Tastes mucho suavé! Trick is to melt the peanut butter right before adding mustard. Especially on toasted tortillas.

I want to go but I have this fear that if I fly, the plane will crash or if take a cruise there, that the ship will sink ☹
It’s literally in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, and that terrifies me 😅

I went to a hospital Admitting Desk and told the girl I stole candy once when I was a kid. She said she didn't care. So much for admitting anything ever again.
