What do you think about Donald Trump?

IM5688 · 61-69, M
For decades I've been saying that we need a businessman for president as politicians just can't seem to handle the country's finances. Well, now we have one and despite all the hatred and the obstacles they've thrown at him, he seems to be doing quite well for the country and the American people.
As a person, I think he is super egotistical and can be brash and brazen at times, but he is doing a tough job and succeeding. His agenda makes sense and he is one of the few that actually are trying very hard to keep his campaign promises and get the country on the right track.

@BohemianBabe While not all of his business ventures were totally successful, his real estate companies have always been successful. Also many of, (but not all,) of his golf courses have been successful.
Remember, one can start a successful business and due to drastic and/or sudden market and economic changes, that business can fail. It doesn't mean you are a bad businessman. His Atlantic City casinos were also successful at first, but due to the novelty wearing off and changes in the economy, after a time, they failed. The business failed, but Trump didn't.
@IM5688 Most of his real estate businesses failed.

Sure, a business can fail for reasons unrelated to the person running it. However, when the vast majority of a person's businesses fail, it's most likely that said person is just bad at business.

And bruh, the casinos? Trump's casinos failed literally because he built three when he should have built one, just because he wanted to see his name on three huge buildings. Of course, this meant paying triple property taxes, which he couldn't afford. This is one of Trump's most embarrassing failures and sums him up perfectly. It's also one of the few times the house lost.

The real story here should be classism and how the American government will protect people born into wealth, no matter how many times they fail, while people born into poverty are left to remain in poverty.

@IM5688
He does have successful businesses. He does own loads of real estate and has amassed a fortune.

What business are you referring to that is a successful business?
The perfect man for the job. He's done more work for America in 2+ months than Biden did in 4 years.

@BlueVeins a pussy can take a pounding all day long and keep going. Balls on the other hand, barely a flick and we're on the ground in the fetal position in total pain, and most likely puking as well.

It's nice to have someone with a brain after 4 years of Biden.
I think we would be in serious trouble without him! He is definitely the man of the hour!
fun4us2b · M
He's uniquely dangerous and harming the US economy in ways not thought of before.

@sunsporter1649 i was just in LA, those prices you lost are not accurate, many of the cars I saw were EVs, there were many public charge stations available. What happened to the problem mise of stopping inflation on day one? You don't live in the US, but if you did, how are your investments looking?
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@samueltyler2 Palm Beach, Florida is not in the United States? My neighbor Donald will be surprised to hear that.
Anniedlr · 26-30, F
I’d rather not think about him🙂
Sidewinder · 36-40, M
@Anniedlr You and me, both.

The less I have to think of him, the better it will be for my karma.

MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
I don’t think about him at all.
nudistsueaz · 61-69, F
@MrBrownstone Do you know why?
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@nudistsueaz No reason to
nudistsueaz · 61-69, F
@MrBrownstone Oh, I thought you were a US citizen, sorry.
Peter85 · 36-40, M
He’s good
HobNoblin · 36-40, M
He's awesome. He will save our country.
Heartlander · 80-89, M
A welcome relief. God bless President Trump.
Heartlander · 80-89, M
@swirlie

I saw him in a live performance a dozen or so years ago at a nearby Dinner Theater.

Knotts character was always about someone investing emotions and anxiety in things that are meaningless to the rest of us. Always doubling down on stupid stuff. He would have played a perfect Joe Biden role, on stage where the extent of his anxieties was just for entertainment.
swirlie · 31-35
@Heartlander
I was thinking Knotts would play a perfect Donald Trump role because of Donald's entertainment value as he attempts to portray himself as being relevant on the world stage.
Heartlander · 80-89, M
@swirlie

Hmmmm .... ??? to play Trump I would pick Burt Lancaster or Charlton Heston.

I can just imagine Knotts yelling and screaming about the need to save democracy from Republicans.
Thodsis · 51-55, M
He isn't a man that I'd want to be left alone with....
Sidewinder · 36-40, M
@Thodsis The feeling is mutual.
nudistsueaz · 61-69, F
He's the best thing that could happen for the USA
nudistsueaz · 61-69, F
@Peter85 I think that great. What bothers me is all the people here that can't seem to understand it.

@Vin53 Lolz
@Burnley123 Yes I find your first reply entirely believable.
@Burnley123 A well-read, thoughtful teacher having no opinion on one of the most crucial political missteps in the collective lives of Democracy, Liberty & Knowledge ever, at a time when American leadership is truly needed in several areas...

And it being you.

Not buyin' it.
WintaTheAngle · 41-45, M
Not much.
YoMomma ·
Im not sure.. better than the opposition tho 😤
Heartlander · 80-89, M
@samueltyler2 Blue Vs Red state comparisons are meaningless once the statistics get manipulated by the deep state leftists or their media allies.

Like in Minneapolis where hate criminals can inflict $20,000+ damages on a vehicle without being charged? And how many pro-Hamas campus rioters damaged university property and were never charged? And didn't LA recently list crimes that are dismissed without being charged?

@Heartlander Obviously you have drunk the Koolade, so it isn't worth discussing this with you. Your savior is doing such a great job, isn't he!
Heartlander · 80-89, M
@samueltyler2

:) No way!! I would never let my lips touch Koolade handed to me by a Democrat.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
he does a lot of things
nudistsueaz · 61-69, F
@MartinTheFirst As opposed to a President that did absolute nothing.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@nudistsueaz the last one was knocking on death's door, I'll miss his antics
nudistsueaz · 61-69, F
@MartinTheFirst Biden's antics?
Love me the Donald, hbu?
GerOttman · 61-69, M
He's a clumsy pompous oaf. Too bad the other party can't find someone better. Maybe next time, but I wouldn't count on it!

@Sidewinder Yeah but... it's the other part that should be more concerning!
TheShanachie · 61-69, M
Needs to be embalmed
Vin53 · M
He's just another neo liberal president, but with overt contempt for the population and its "government".
But the complicit and downtrodden population can't react to a chainsaw waved at their social welfare. They're that conservative. Fascists.
alan20 · M
Totally self-obsessed. Not up to being President but unlikely to ever admit it. Likely to do enormous damage even to the point of destroying democracy and threatening world stability and peace.

@Northwest I think that's what I like most about him. He's so creative, you never know what the heck he will say next, but you do know everyone will get very excited about it.

Between his lies and the Democrats lies, this country may get a viable 3rd party yet.
