@Rolexeo it's literally not. Biden won. He will be your president for the next 8 years then Harris for the next 8 then AOC for the next 8. Your god-emperor has ensured that the GOP is dead! And Biden is doing such a phenomenal job his reelection is guaranteed. 40 states at least will vote for him in 2024
@Rolexeo the old testament says it's a sin, not the new, and regardless the US is not a theocracy like you intolerant RepubliCONS think. Jesus believes in free will, RepubliCONS believe in total authoritarian control. You're the troll here
Do you even realize how hypocritical you’re being? You are correct that the US isn’t a theocracy. So based on your logic, even if Jesus did preach “hardcore liberal policy” (which He didn’t), that would not be a valid reason to run our country based on liberal policy.
@Rolexeo Jesus never said one word about homosexuality. Old testament law was abolished and Jesus said to love everyone
Matthew 5:17 Romans 1:26-28
“Love everyone” has nothing to do with anything you’ve been discussing.
@Longpatrol I'm not saying we don't listen to the old testament, but it is less there for the entire historical factor. the reason is that at that time BC there were no established rules or guidelines yet. Until Jesus came and basically said the two commandments above all are "love your neighbor like yourself, and love the lord thy God."
the old testament says things like you can't trim your beard if you're a man. like come on
and if you really study the bible and study why there are even rules to begin with, it is suggested that the rules were established in order to preserve life. for example gluttony or sluggishness (laziness) seems like very unusual things to be considered sins. well, gluttony leads to being overweight and obese and causes numerous health problems. and slothfullness leads to poverty
Jesus did not preach hardcore liberal—or conservative—policies. The most/only political thing He said was to “give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar”—in other words, pay your taxes and stay at peace with the government. He also said that His kingdom is not of this world.
He never said a thing about “universal health care,” and loving your neighbor has nothing to do with politics.
Jesus was apolitical. You can be a Christian Republican, a Christian Democrat, or anything in between. The important thing is that you *CAN’T* make politics your #1 motivator in life. That would be idolatry.
I dunno, why does the left preach CRT and transgender woo instead of fighting the imperial Corporatocracy which is the current American political system.
@SumKindaMunster except I'm not calling on violence. You're the one who's committing acts of violence. How many ar15s do you own? 50? Can't wait for Biden to take those from you
During Cruz's Presidential Campaign he did photo ops at a Church and the next day with an AR15 at a gun club. I Guess he couldn't figure out a way to pose with the AR15 in the Church. You can tell Cruz is a very religious man.
The DemoCRAPs put things in place for their cronies under the premise that it is for a liberal cause but if you read the details it is all bull. The real problem is that there are DemoCRAPS and Dumbocrats. The DemoCraps are the ones making horrible policy and the Dumbocrats are the ones blindly following them.
@Funtoy4u the demokkkrats who exploit sensitive issues for political leverage when they founded and funded the kkk and people are actually stupid enough to follow them
@DeluxedEdition the parties flipped in the 1800s. Today's KKK members are all right winged extremists like you. I mean the KKKops still keep killing unarmed black men and you cheer them on
Jesus targeted the hierarchy of the Jewish faith. He criticized their mandate of ritual purity, criticized the inaccessibility of the Pharisees and their lost-touch perspective. He ministered to the sick, the poor, the ostracized, the reviled, those with stigma and those who had been ignored by their people and faith. He taught against the alienation of the least because they mattered as much as the most important. All this without even a miracle or utterance that He was god incarnate.
Because in a healthy society, it's what people do. So you make a good point, Troll: Conservatism - particularly and ironically, evangelical conservatism - has no right to co-opt Jesus. As long as racist, bigoted, hateful, alienating and self-congratulatory policies and ideologies are embraced, conservatives would do well to keep Jesus out of their mouths.
What do you mean? Don't you remember how Jesus said, "Verily, I say unto you, feed not the hungry; it will create dependence. Heal not the sick, except they have insurance."
@TheGOPHateAmerica On my fathers side, we can trace back to 1732, when my ancestor arrived in Virginia as an indentured servant. Where does your family tree originate?
{thegophateaamerica] yes perhaps it is too sort of ease there consciences saying they have christian values to make there political doctrines seem right when they are so wrong and against christian values
Pence gave up his religion for the Trump religion but that wasn't good enough. Trump sent people to Hang Mike Pence. Trump held up a bible in front of a church. Trump is a religious man.
BLM and Antifa caused billions in property damages, no consequences.
WTF are you talking about? lol
If this were the case, we'd all be quoting it. Do you realize how much destruction it would take to cause "BILLIONS in property damages"? That's like a major storm...not a protest infiltrated by right-wing/anarchists provocateurs who light a few fires & smash some glass.
You have std right-wing tropes, so you denial of established news outlets is de rigeur for your ilk, but the traditional news outlets are commercial and would love to break huge stories such as those you espouse.
If you think that they wouldn't, you are the naïve one, "kid".
@SomeMichGuy Imagine believing the news, ignorant child
SW-User
I think some Christians have become too embroiled in jingoistic politics and lost their sense of compassion for their fellow human beings. I would like to see more concern for others. I don't think it's a very Christian attitude to say "I got mine, so screw everyone else". Not according to what I was taught, at least.
I don't give a shit about political parties though. A lot of Republicans say Democrats can't be Christians at all and I'm sick of policing religious beliefs.
@SW-User I legitimately think that if you were to take the Jesus of the Bible and plop him in the middle of a Republican convention, they would listen to him for all of thirty seconds before dismissing him as a socialist.
@rolexo you're wrong and your perspective only makes sense if you limit your understanding of left and right to America, to the rest of the world the Republican party is WAY The fuck to the right, like not just far but FUCKING far right. WAY THE FUCK out in right field and radical as FUCK.
meanwhile the Democrats like, Moderate Right.
and there's NO actual Left wing major party in this country AT ALL. It's the big lie of the establishment, there's no such thing as "The left" in america. Not as any major movement.
Many and nope, but whenever prosperous countries implement socialism everything goes to shit
Which parts are more right-wing than the US? We had an attempt at a Fascist coup to overthrow the Constitution by right-wing insurrectionists on 6 Jan.
How many countries have a formerly mainstream party which has gone THAT far off the rails?
And regarding the other...everything is shit in Europe? NZ, where they have a female PM with more balls than Trump, a gal who made NZ an exemplar of how to handle a few big problems?
