I think some Christians have become too embroiled in jingoistic politics and lost their sense of compassion for their fellow human beings. I would like to see more concern for others. I don't think it's a very Christian attitude to say "I got mine, so screw everyone else". Not according to what I was taught, at least.
I don't give a shit about political parties though. A lot of Republicans say Democrats can't be Christians at all and I'm sick of policing religious beliefs.

@SW-User I legitimately think that if you were to take the Jesus of the Bible and plop him in the middle of a Republican convention, they would listen to him for all of thirty seconds before dismissing him as a socialist.
