@Tastyfrzz I've joked about it before, but I legitimately think that's why they avoid us. We are a violent, primitive species that has managed to stumble bassackwards onto most of our best technology while taking a break from murdering each other.
Hm. Can’t say I’d react at all. I’ve always thought some other sentient beings had to be out there somewhere. I would only hope they’ve managed to be better than we are.
Here is a sketch of a craft observed by at least six witnesses in Youngstown Ohio. No beings were observed but the chairs that were visible through the "cockpit" window appear to be for an adult human. The device was aparently operated by remote control or by artificial intelligence. The device emitted a 25 Hz hum. When it took off it left in the blink on an eye. It was around 40 feet in diameter and hovered around 50 feet above a tree within 40 feet of the witnesses. The tree ( a blue spruce) died shortly thereafter (within 6 months).
@Tastyfrzz I find that fascinating. It appears to be quite similar to human technology, which I would expect if humans had previously colonized other planets, and we here on Earth just had no memory of it due to somebody burning down a library or some such.
I would be surprised, and I would want to see the evidence and hear a discussion among qualified experts before accepting it as fact. I am sure life is out there, but I am not that confident that ETs are here.
Meh, don't really care, I'm not much of a believer anyway. Why would ONLY government officials have access? The funny thing is... there's never any solid legit evidence in the light of day, for thousands of years that humans have lived on earth. Sort of like sasquatch. It's always conjecture and hazy fuzzy images, imaginations, etc..
Exactly. Any species actually capable of interstellar travel would not be fettered in such a way by anything on this planet. Everyone on Earth would know, with zero ambiguity.

@DancingStarGoddess They haven't directly admitted to the existence of aliens, just UFOs. I suspect they are gradually revealing the truth a piece at a time.
I've been listening to the pre-disclosure hype, and from what I can tell...the pronouncement from our government will be that "There are NO alien UAP's."
In other words, the sightings are all experimental craft from various governments around EARTH.
What are they really doing? Trying to distract us with Aliens whilst doing something they don't want us to know. They do this every year come Christmas time. Thinking we're too distracted with the holiday to notice the new laws they pass.

It's so weird. I fully believe, not only in life on other planets, but that it has visited us, and I would still be skeptical if our current government admitted to it.

The big figures in social media trying to get even more rich off the news, People calling "fake news", tRump blabbing his chops about some bull, companies using it as an excuse to raise prices AGAIN, middle easterners trying to scam, old spinsters thinking romance has finally arrived from another planet, Churches acting like the AntiChrysler is now here,
And just all the normal BS that happens every time the world qu33fs.
I would laugh my asssss off, which was the same way that I reacted when I first learned that the USA had landed a man on the moon and that he walked around up there, planted a nice flag in the moon dirt, gathered some moon rocks, then climbed back aboard his tin can on stilts to then blast off uneventfully and came back to earth totally unscathed, who then lived to talk about it until the US government eventually silenced him for good. That's what happened to Neil Armstrong. He got silenced when he started telling too much.
