I have no real concept of time or money, I am a dog.

itsok · 31-35, F
no. I see a few of these and the next thing I know I don’t have a quarter for a cart at aldi 😞
JackDaniels · 51-55, M

JackDaniels · 51-55, M
@itsok Went through my piggy bank.

Iwillwait · M
@JackDaniels Those are all old 80's and older quarters, better check those dates.
meggie · F
I was more careful with it when i was younger. Now i do spend a bit more on luxuries and holidays. You can't take your money with you, so you should enjoy it while you are still able to.
WillaKissing · 61-69, M
@meggie I agree with you whole heartedly.
HumanEarth · F
I saved more for the government to take from me.

Every time I save up a nest egg. Government comes along and robs my 401k, IRAs, and Whatnots. I'm better off saving cash in jars and burying it in my yards.
4meAndyou · F
I was NOT careful. I had a party with my credit cards...bought anything I wanted...and it crept up on me. Suddenly, I had to charge a huge car repair, followed by having to charge a large dental bill. That took the balances up beyond where I could pay the minimum.

I saw National Debt Relief on television, and I said, "Sign me up!" It's the hardest thing I ever did.
I can't go out to eat anymore. I can't even stop at McDonald's and grab a burger.

I have such a strict budget now that, after my bills are paid, I can save $50, and if I am lucky, I have $50 or more left to buy things like cleaning supplies, or paper products, or water filters, or batteries. And I never, never have enough money to buy them all at once.

I have just finished two years of the Debt relief program, and I have about 3 more years to go.
ArishMell · 70-79, M
Yes. When you are on pensions even if not actually in near penury, you do have to realise you cannot be profligate.
ArtistMoon · 31-35, F

exexec · 70-79, C
Yes, but our desires are simple so not much money is needed. We are retired and try to spend less than our investments earn each year. So far, we are succeeding.
meJess · F
Yes I launder it regularly 😊
