I was NOT careful. I had a party with my credit cards...bought anything I wanted...and it crept up on me. Suddenly, I had to charge a huge car repair, followed by having to charge a large dental bill. That took the balances up beyond where I could pay the minimum.

I saw National Debt Relief on television, and I said, "Sign me up!" It's the hardest thing I ever did.
I can't go out to eat anymore. I can't even stop at McDonald's and grab a burger.

I have such a strict budget now that, after my bills are paid, I can save $50, and if I am lucky, I have $50 or more left to buy things like cleaning supplies, or paper products, or water filters, or batteries. And I never, never have enough money to buy them all at once.

I have just finished two years of the Debt relief program, and I have about 3 more years to go.
