@Rilyn definitely. I realized how willing he was to find that part of me and pluck at it until I fell apart. I don’t love easy, so I tried to heal us both, but not at the expense of my mental health while I’m raising my son 🖤

@Rilyn Trust me, our emotions are the biggest strengths & weaknesses too. Dont be so hard on yourself. Most of us are wired to be that way and in a way, there is a lot of factors from the society & the environment around us, have contributed to making us wired that way.

You will get through this too. I am not patronizing you, but I am just being very honest. Time is the best healer.

I understand you.
Even so I don´t think at all we live to learn.
There is some moderate wisdom in learning to live.
And regrets are not only "states of mind" same as experiences are not only past episodes.
And things fixed in the mind are nothing but potential.
As an example for my view of it....
What closed that old wound (wound, beyond the pains) was finding what love was and living it so many years after ending what was not. And not earlier.

Incidental hurt would be more of a trending threat of occurring, therefore I would be more prepared for it....meaning, it's probably not for me (since they are liable to do it again).
If it was totally on accident, then that could totally be forgiven....and you can make amends and get over it
