If I loved them, I would want them back, but that doesn’t mean I would take them back.

I was with a guy I’d love to crawl back to right this moment, but I have too much respect for myself to open up to more pain.

@SW-User I think maybe then you should keep on respecting yourself while you can. In a way opening yourself to pain from the same person is kind of self harm to yourself.

@Rilyn definitely. I realized how willing he was to find that part of me and pluck at it until I fell apart. I don’t love easy, so I tried to heal us both, but not at the expense of my mental health while I’m raising my son 🖤
