I woke up, did my skincare, makeup, hair, got dressed and had a breakfast of tofu scramble, cottage cheese, and avocado. I fed my birds and fish, before I drove to the next state over to visit one of my sisters. It was snowing for half of the drive. She gave me some things for my birthday because I won’t see her for a couple of months.
When I left there my maps/internet on my phone weren’t working so I drove around until it came back so I could use GPS.
I went to Panera and got a tea, then picked up tofu and chicken from the grocery store, and then got some self care items (makeup remover wipes, body spray, lash clusters, teeth whitening strips) before heading home.
When I got back to my town I picked up banana bread for National banana bread day.

I got home and made food, and then sat around for a couple of hours. My niece came over, another one of my sisters came over. My sister and I made plans to go to the gym a bit later-after she picked her son up.
I took a picture with my niece and our banana bread, and then she left, so I got ready for the gym.
I picked my sister up and we were at the gym forrr about 75 minutes. Dropped her off and came home.
I did my dad’s business taxes for him.
I made my opossum’s dinner of turkey and riced cauliflower, and I made myself oatmeal.
I finished the book I was reading, checked on my little iPad game, then watched a few episodes of bob’s burgers with a friend.

Thennn I got ready for bed.

Woke up and drank coffee. Showered and dressed, had a battle with my son over getting up and going to school. Little bit of time on SW, phone call to pastoral care team. Gave son breakfast and drove him to school. Phone call with disability social worker. Stress vacuum cleaned to very loud music. Went food shopping. Prepared a pasta bake, worked on an essay about essential oil chemotypes, cooked and served the pasta bake, cleaned kitchen, gave my son a foot massage, went to Slimming club, ate my pasta, had a soak in the bath, went to bed relaxed with some SW. Fell asleep 🙂

Shoveling two feet of snow ughh.. still need to do another half hour today. My arms are sore, it was so heavy 😟

Not much tbh. There was a legit blizzard here. We ended up with wind gusts over 65mph and about 32-36” of fairly heavy wet snow.

The driveway is 75% shoveled out, but that’s irrelevant because the road isn’t plowed. So, we’re going nowhere.

I was a fundraising participant in an all-women's roller skating derby (roller derby) for a children's hospital in Toronto.

It was not a real roller derby in the traditional sense, but was more about spending the last month signing up sponsors with deep pockets who'd pledge $1000 per hour for each female participant who would then race around the indoor track like a bunch of wild women!

For each hour that we'd roller-skate, we'd earn $1000 donation from each of our sponsors. The good part was, we could stop every 30 minutes for a break, then continue where we'd left off while time-keepers kept track of our total time rollerskating!
